But a guy earlier in the thread spoke to his American friends and they said I was lying so my eyes must be bad.

We'll I can't play battlefield 4 if I don't have it. I'm waiting for the next gen version, I don't want to play a gimped version on this gen.

Currently when I play ghosts I'd say I average 2 games before turning it off. Even though I'm getting a bit of a feel for it now, it is still pants. I might have the odd game but I will barely play this once I have bf4. You can save that quote for later as well!
 
I tried the BF4 demo on the Xbox and it was utterly awful. Probably the worse looking game since PS1 days lol.

BF4 is for PC though i guess. BF2 was the best FPS ever, shame that has been lost from todays Battlefield games.

COD, i agree (well you can't disagree), is the same old ****. But everyone has it which makes it enjoyable to play online. Even fogies/girlfriends can play COD and have a good game.

The demo didn't have the HD textures pack which is why it looked so bad. I enjoyed bf3 and I will be getting it for the next gen. 64 player mayhem :D

Cod is ok when played with friends but I really hate how you can't run and gun anymore as you'reopretty much guaranteed to be shot in the back if you do.

That could be a problem for me as i am a shotgun man with quick hands for 2nd primary weapon (The single shot rifle, forgot its name).
 
Amen to that, most of my deaths last night were being shot in the back.

Stone Haven is especially bad for it. I like the diversity of the maps, they are nice to play on after the crazy cluster**** that was the Black Ops 2 maps.
 
Has anyone had their pre-order from the Rainforest place delivered and if so, by what method did it arrive?

Mine hardened edition was dispatched yesterday by Royal Mail with no tracking. However my Postperson has been and there's no sign of the game.

He said he didn't like playing it alone. He keeps asking me to get it for this gen but I refuse to as we're on a few weeks away from the xbox one. He said he is getting it for next gen as well so it couldn't of been that bad.

I don't know about your area but in my village sometimes they send a separate person around with the bulkier/special delivery orders.

Ive cancelled Ghosts and changed it to BF4. Ghosts looks far to similar to MW3 which I hated and Im not sure I can face more quickscoping bs. 64 players sounds great fun as well.
 
I've only had a couple of games this morning but first impression are not good.

The maps are terrible, what are they thinking with the Stonehaven one (or whatever it's called).. with both sides full on a game of kill confirmed we ran around for what felt like forever before seeing someone from the other side. There are far to many camping spots and generally bad design.

The charcters seem a little wierd to, it's hard to explain but they seem either smaller or badly animated, or maybe both.

I'll have a proper go tonight but it felt like they didn't have a clue how to improve the game so just did things differently for the sake of it and it's not working.
 
Is it me or in that IGN vis does the PS3 version look really bad?

And theirs very little difference between the 360 and PS4?

Shall I cancel my pre order for Ghosts on XB1 ?

I'm literally only ordering it to play with you guys as most of my friends have been buying it on 360.
