Battlefield 4 Thread ~ Server details in opening post ~

I see the 'bad luck' deaths have reappeared in this. Ie dying when vaulting a fence or my own strangest so far. Crossing a section of water on paracel storm, got onto the beach only to trip on a rock and die. Theese soldiers arent the hardiest of fellas.:D

There are only 2 worse things than playing Golmud Railway and that's playing Golmud Railway with rubber banding and sound glitching. A ******* miserable experience.

Dullest map in the history of maps.

Has anyone had the bug where the game freezes, the audio just repeats the last second over and over non stop (at the time it said enemy has the bomb, but just kept looping "enem enem enem enem enem enem...").

When I alt-tabbed out and looked at BattleLog, it just said 'Transitioning' in the little blue ribbon. Had to force close the BF4 process. Been doing it a lot this evening.

I managed one game last night before it did that to me, starting happening more and more as the weekend went on. Only does it on Domination games during a fast turn for me, never at any other point.

Well, after playing commander for a bunch of games now..

Also really hate it when a campy sniper Recon is a squad leader, it makes it so much harder to co-ordinate the squads... assuming they even listen to you in the first place :p

Really bad again tonight, keep getting memory leaks.
game grinds to a halt, then task manager shows memory, disk over 90%

Absolutely dreadful day today for the reasons listed below.

1. Clueless Support and Medic players who do absolutely nothing to benefit the team. No dropping of medic or ammo packs and no reviving from anybody. I'm sick of these clueless idiots playing a team based game but just running around like clueless goons.

2. Snipers on TDM/Domination when the map is tiny. What is the point? Run around, kill people and capture flags instead of sitting on the edge of the map fingering yourself into a coma.

3. People who think they are invincible and go running in to rooms full of people, therefore meaning I have to spawn way back at another location all because they were too lazy to sit in a safe place to let me spawn on them.

4. FPS dropping from 100 to 60 for a split second. It doesn't sound much but the ever so slight drop is very noticeable and extremely annoying.

5. The fact I got so angry, I threw my alarm clock at the wall.

Game seems loads better today not dropped at all.

ran a few tests on default high cpu @ 4.0Ghz GPU usage was 80% VRAM was 1.5GB used 60+fps going to try ultra now

Edit. fraps was averaging 80fps going into 90 and 70's during heavy battles

played 3 rounds in a row no crashes so far while playing , was few times when trying to join the server , but thats about it .

I seem to crash out also if I have any interaction with Battlelog...if I do anything on the app or alt+tab to share a battle report or something, when I go back to the game it will crash a few minutes afterwards.

Also, I've not used an XP boost yet and they're stacking up a fair bit, was planning on using them during double XP days, do we know if they'll stack correctly during double XP?

Found it the most boring experience yet, no-one listens so your points rack up soooo slowly..

Can see why they added support for tablets to do it, anyone who sits at the PC and does commander must be bored out of their mind :p

Just wanted to check again and see if anyone else has noticed that at the start of a new map it takes about 10 seconds for the textures to gain there quality. For example when I start the grass is awful green patches and soon loads into quality grass. Anyone else found this?
