Phone On or Off during sleepy time

I've always left my phone on (though only use it as an alarm if I'm away from home). The drain is insignificant (unless you live in an area with shocking reception).

The only irritation is the odd beep if I haven't muted it and the notification LED reflecting off the ceiling (at some point I will learn to turn the phone face-down before hitting the hay).
I always leave mine on all night .... main irritation is being woken by the "battery less than 10% - attach charger" klaxon in the middle of the nighy if I failed to spot it needed to go on the charger (my Xperia Play tends to last a couple of days between charges .... now got an N5 on order and that may need a daily charge - though I'm thinking of getting a Qi pad for that)

On and fully loud. If someone's wants to speak with me at 5 in the morning it's probably critical. I don't have any drunkard friends.

Always on, charging at night, 4 alarms to wake me up in the morning, although recently purchased a cheapo radio FM alarm which does the trick first-time around.

If anybody wakes me up while I'm trying to sleep then they'll get full rage.

Never turn my phone off.

At night it's always on charge and usually on full volume as if anyone wants to call in the early hours it's probably important. The odd little email sound doesn't wake me.

Also use it as my alarm as it's a million times easier than any alarm clock I've ever used.

On but in Airplane Mode and on silent. Alarm still wakes me up but overnight battery drain is around 1-2%
plug my phone in for an hour (note 3.. gotta love usb3 charging) when i get home from work which gets it back up to around 90% and so far not come close to being cought short battery wise :)

On all night, On charge, Full sound & vibrate. It is used as an alarm throughout the week, being woken up by the HTC One speakers is awesome :D

On, but with Airplane mode on. I only use it as an alarm when I sleep.

There have been studies that say that leaving your phone connected to WiFi, mobile networks, etc. can cause health problems. Not conclusive of course, but I'd rather not take the risk.

Quote the study, I want a good laugh. Also you must trust the device if you stick it on full power next to your junk every day surely? ;)

on, charging and silent.

up until recently i left the ringer volume on, but some hilarious ****s decide to drunk dial me so silent it is.

I usually turned it on all night but I see to it I put my phone at a distance not too close to me but not that far in which I can't reach it. Why not too close? As far as I know, mobile phones emit radiation that can actually affect the brain and causes cancer too. Also, I use my phone as an alarm clock. If it's too near me, I usually just turn the alarm off and start sleeping again. So I need that distance for me too move my body and be aware that it is time to wake up!

Mine stays on and is in a dock by my bed with a clock on screen also have a tasker profile to turn off data after 12 am and set ringer volume to low.

On, Charging on vibrate. I use it as an alarm, so haven't risked sticking it in silent yet. I assume the alarm will still go off, but im not risking it yet.
