Any new jumps in SSD tech predicted?

Hey all, finally considering an SSD, looking at the Samsung 250GB 840 EVO like everyone else it seems.

But before I splash out, I am in no rush really, are there any big jumps to the tech that are worth waiting for? Like a smaller process, better controllers on the horizon.

That's fair enough, but I have been caught out buying a product a week before it was replaced by a better model, so no harm in checking first.

840 EVO has been out a couple of months only, you'll be fine buying it now .
