i seen a thread on another forum about poor ds4 battery does any one here have info on it ?Most of these 'missing' features will be added in a software update which will download as soon as you turn on the console for the first time.
Unless, of course, you don't have an internet connection (shame on you) in which case you're screwed.

Should be the same (if not better) as the DS3 as far as I know.
I've seen two places saying the battery life is ~8 hours which would be a big drop. Not sure if that's when they were using the headphone jack as that might drain it faster.

I don't think you can really say for sure until the console is released. Sony may fix some it last minute.
Also, could be software rather than hardware, so could be fixed via a software update (if it is indeed an issue).
8 hours isn't too bad. I'd surely never do that in one sitting any more!

Im thoroughly looking forward to the UFC on PS4 i think EA will do a better job than THQ did graphically especially.
They messed up COD they released the single player at 720p. Its pretty funny you had IGN comparing the videos at the same res and they didnt have a clue and Polygon saying it didnt look that much better but had worse framerate and Neogaf raging it cannot be. Its hilariously entertaining.
I'm confused. Ghosts on PS4 right now is 720p and has frame rate problems and now they're going to patch it to 1080p? I presume they are fixing the frame rate with said patch, too?

The graphics will be better, but I'd be surprised if they could match THQs gameplay tbh.
Well the framerate issue is there still at 720p probably because its still rendering at 1080p just not outputting it to the screen. But yeah hopefully they will fix the framerate issues but with the way things are going who knows?
edit: Who even knows if there is framerate issues on the PS4, most of the media coundnt tell the difference between 720p and 1080p so I wouldnt trust them at the moment. Maybe best to wait for Deep Foundry to do their thing.

Interesting that the Mantle livestream from someone working on Frostbite saying that Mantle and PS4 is going to be their platform for optimizing Frostbite, no mention of XB1.
Guessing this means that Frostbite is probably going to perform better on PS4 for most/all games.

Bloody hell, I go to work and all hell breaks loose! I have been watching that Knack stream - and I know I shouldn't , but....I still want it lol It looks good to me!
hmm will see the EA Sports MMA game they made was debatably better graphically and gameplay just the lack of UFC roster doesnt give it that feel. Its like PES for example even if it were better in terms of gameplay which it isnt but it would still suck because of the licensing.
