Dat playstation tower

I wonder what this generations "Cross game chat" failure will be?

MP3/DLNA support?
HDCP removal for capture devices?

I don't think people care about either of these things (especially the latter, it affects only a tiny minority really) quite as much they seemed to for cross-game chat.

Can't say I've ever had the urge to talk to someone playing an entirely different game to me, but to each their own.

Have to say, watching an MP stream of Call of Duty: Ghosts, it seems that the voice quality for chat is still the same as a telephone. I was expecting much more clarity.

Might be the standard mic and/or connection issue?

I was watching a stream yesterday and was impressed with how clear the voice was, he was using a third party headset though

That's no way to talk about the Xbox One.

Must suck not having friends.

:p

Used the cross game chat quite a bit when friends were playing different games.

I don't have many friends who play games anyway, so we're usually in the same thing but if I'm playing say, a single player game, I don't really want nor need to be talking over it.

Doesn't look like they're patching apps. Still the same as PS3 where you download an app, it has to then install and then apply any patches. Whether the patches are rolled into one or multiple, I haven't ascertained yet.
