Hope my preorder of the killzone gamer pack from amazon arrives before Christmas as it's a pressie! Still haven't got any idea from amazon of when it'll actually turn up account to the order tracking.
 
Anyone getting it from game and paying by pay pal and had an email warning me to pay? It links to a page that says I have no preorder alerts?

They kept cancelling my preorder for no reason so I ended up going with amazon instead. Game have started taking payments for the orders now though so it's probably that
 
i really can't decide what to do cancel or keep. Not because of those bs failure ect.. as I believe it's complete nonsense. Just because, of the launch line up, is it worth 470 for killzone and fifa ......hmmmm.
 
The new Drive Club Video looks good. Wonder what PD has planned for the GT Series, but seeing a project cars is 'meant' to be out next year then PS4 will have two racing games, so PD will need to really up their game if Drive Club and Project cars deliver..

And Rdb2012, got the same mega pack on pre order from amazon, killzone and fifa 14 should keep you busy on? You get two PS+ games, contrast and resogun so that will be four games.. quite a few no?
 
Got my pre-order back on with Amazon. The Killzone gamer pack, couldn't resist.. I thought I could wait but alas I want shiny new PlayStation :p. Killzone will be decent, think there's a couple free PS+ games coming soon as well.

Aye it was at too good a price to say no to really. I ordered mine 2 days ago now and still no information on when I might receive it. I'll let you know if that changes though as yours might take slightly longer than mine to come through.

Yh man that's enough I think, just hope K mp is good, as I really want a regular mp game on the system.

Eitherway, I doubt I will cancel as Iam sure i'll regret it and probably will end up buying everything separate.
 
not sure why people would cancel? im still stoked i feel most malfunctions from firmware will be fixed any faulty units will be a minority or from shipping, im confident things will be sorted and a lot of the problems reported are fanboys, most people jump to complain and post negative reviews as opposed to credit it too on Amazon anyway.
 
Just spent 15 minutes trying out a PS4, sadly only had Knack which wasn't great, looked like a high end PS3 game and gameplay very bland. On the upside the controller was much much better, I'd hesitate to say better than the 360 controller but think it'll be personal preference on that. Can't comment on noise as it was in a plastic box, the store did tell me it had overheated several times but in a sealed box that's not a huge surprise although a bit worrying as it wasn't a hot day.

Overall I wasn't blown away but Knack is probably the weakest title to demonstrate why you'd go next gen.
