Pc vs ps4

Of course the PC will be better, for one thing it'll likely to costs about twice as much.

What put the console in advantage is you can guarantee you can buy games for it more than half a decade down the line for it and run smooth at 30fps.

Much better value for money.

It also has lots of other uses though.

You can do the same with a PC, they don't get any less powerful. You just have to lower settings on newer games, they will still match or better a console released at the same time.

Much better value for money.

Not really when you factor in the cost of games over a few years. You'll save £10-15 on each one you buy.

Saying all that consoles definitely have their place and I'll be getting one of the new ones.

A decent PC will be better mainly due to the higher resolution and AA capabilities, not to mention textures etc etc etc blah blah blah

PS3, 360, PS4 and XB1 are not as powerful as a decent gaming PC in terms of graphics. Period.

The real question is what games do you want to play and how do you play them eg, at a desk or on the sofa with the telly.

That would be true if you are not going to upgrade a single part of your Pc over the life of the console, for the one just gone, that is almost 8 years.

Who here is gaming with the latest release Pc game with a PC built from 2006?

so how do the graphics compare

Pc is on the verge of 4K , consoles still cant hit 1080p reliably - that in itself should give you an indication of how they compare.

and from the looks of it whilst the new consoles have had a much needed texture boost, they still cant match the added AA/AF that pcs can easily pump out to make games look really crisp.

of course you need a half decent GPU nowadays, but your talking £200 to play the likes of BF4 etc on max, providing you have a half decent CPU from the last 5 years.
