Its a wierd compromise regards the earbud, make it in-ear/canal and you cant hear the TV easily in that ear. Definitely no replacement for a headset that mixes game sounds and chat - but I wouldnt expect that from the bundled accessory.

Really want to see more headsets out there as I suspect Ill want one sooner rather than later - I dont want to get the Pulse just because its the main one out there...

I would rather be comfortable than worry about what someone things of me lol, I hate these type of earphone/buds and for long periods of gaming these are not going to do you any favors at least imo anyway. plus it screams cheapness to me not something you want to see when laying down £400 on something.

im sure there wil lbe 3rd party headsets though

I have a pair of Turtle Beach PX21s (I think at least) and they are only confortable for about an hour and then they really start to hurt my ears, one of my friends has the same issue with his headset. On the other hand I can wear in ear ones all day long without issue. Personal preference though.

£350 for a PS4 is a bargain, the fact that you get any headset bundled with it is very generous. The bundled 360 headset was like an early 90s call centre headset don't forget, not exactly a beacon of quality or comfort either. I'm not sure what you expect for the money really :p
 
So you can use a 2.5mm jack in the DS4 for audio, such as I can use the audio jack and sound will come out of the Ds4 for game and music, or just microphone? Sorry confused.

edit google search : The best feature, though, is the one that’s been talked about least: You can route all of your game’s audio through the controller and into its headphone jack.

Wow now that is pretty cool. That is a feature I'd use
 
Saw both consoles in the flesh at game norwich today, neither as big as I thought, xbox seemed pretty deep.

They had a ps4 game on and I was underwhelmed to be honest, sharp crisp picture but nothing at all to go wow at

What game was being shown on the Ps4?
 
No idea, seemed to be a character with variety of attacjs, kind of cartoony, wasnt been shown , public was playing it, and from expression werent too impressed
 
Sounds like Knack, for some reason they are using that in most of the PS4 demo booths. I guess KZ is too violent, Resogun too hard and most other titles are just PS3 games with better graphics so they want something different that all ages can try out. Just a shame it's not very good!
 
There was no bundles when I preodered my PS4 in Tesco in June. Do you think they'll do me the £385 bundle if I request it on the day with my preorder recipe?
