It'll fly by beachBOYken! Besides I wanted to throw something positive out there. All this whining about build quality, poor release titles, delayed titles, Sony this and Sony that is annoying and ruining my fun! Not to mention some stupid journalist going on and on about how mobile phone gaming is the future and home consoles have no place.

Even the mrs recognises how solitary mobile gaming is compared to getting your mates round for some console based camaraderie and a few beers. Journalists indeed. Still it was the Metro I think which speaks volumes.
 
Got my Shopto receipt just now.

Can I ask, are all release day games going to be on the Store to download on release day? Im thinking NBA, Madden... NFS Rivals.. the more American games if you will.
 
All the PS4 games should be available for download from PSN, the prices I suspect will be £10 more then shops I suspect.. Sad as I'd love to go digital.

just been trying to get amazon to postpone my dispatch from 29th to 3rd as I'm away from 28th - 2nd but proving quite tricky... might have to see if I can find someone to be at my home that day to accept the package.. Don't want a Ps4 being lost, even if its DOA lol

I don't think the UK will have the same issues as the US, it seems from all accounts a batch that went to amazon US customers..

I wish Amazon would hurry up and give me a date I can expect my order to be delivered. I know it won't be on release but a date would be nice, especially as I finish work on the 18th December and that's where my order is going.
 
I'm going to sell my pre ordered console. I simply don't need it until next Christmas tbh as I have the only two games I will be playing for the next year anyway.

EBay is for mugs, selling on Gumtree is the way to go or Facebook, cash in hand

Where are you located? Maybe have it delivered to a local ocuk member with some MM raing? That or a family member? :)
 
i am pleased to say i will now be getting a launch day PS4!!! :D:D:D:D

Tesco are offering the console with knack for £385 and i couldnt turn it down (my wife loves crash bandicoot and it seems to be compared to it a lot so its worth a try)

now just need a second controller and a couple of other games... lets hope tesco home delivery dont let me down!

also got £20 preorder down at GAME but they did state at the time it was transferable

Don't worry about achievements dude. They mean nothing really, unless you're a 14 year old! Heh.

I'm going to switch from X360 to the PS4 and I can't wait!
