It's definitely handy. Theres 3 within fairly close proximity to me now but I remember driving 130mi (260 round trip) just to buy a first gen iPod touch. First and last first gen Apple product I've ever bought :p

Its quite handy the one in Trinity centre in Leeds opened up. Its 10 mins walk from my work and 5 mins walk from where I live.

Easier than going to Meadowhell on the train (plus its about 5 times bigger than the Meadowhell store)
 
Have to say I am quite happy with the O2 refresh deal I got for my 5S.

Sold my 4S on ebay for £260 and used that to pay £189 towards the 5S. Then all I owe is £360 towards the phone which is broken down in 24 months @£15 a month (which I can pay off at any time to get out of contract / handy for when IP6 comes out).

Then £17 tariff for unlimited calls, unlimited text and 1gb of data and all the other O2 perks.

Good deal for £32 all in (or pay off the phone and then just £17 a month)

I couldn't do with 1gb of data any more. My simcard with 3 activated on 1st November and I have used 8.3gb so far!

I think having a 12 month £15 sim only contract and buying a phone out right is cheaper (plus free unlimited data on 4G in a few months)

I will have to sell my iPhone 5 and buy a 5S I think but still

No I only sold it last week! :D

It was in mint condition though as it had been protected by a metal bumper and front and back screen protectors from new.

Done the same with my 5S so expecting to get good money for that too.

Decided to swap my gold 5S for a silver today. 6 days and the novelty of champagne had worn off; the silver looks a lot nicer. I did question if I could change my mind again and get a space grey one and they said that because were in the xmas period you can take returns from now up until Jan 7th.

Anyone here managed to get a decent retention deal with Three? I've got a 4S but it is on the way out now. I'm out of contract but the prices on the site are much higher than my current deal. I'm on The One Plan at £36 per month but now out of contract. I had called the other day to switch to the SIM only £18 One Plan but now my iPhone is breaking (there's a burn mark and bubble under the top left of the screen) and I'm worried something more serious will happen to it. So I'm looking to upgrade to a 32GB 5S. I don't want to pay £46 per month for the same contract with a better phone. What are my chances of haggling a better deal with them now that I'm out of contract?

I dont think they budge much (if at all) on iphone contract prices.
 
Getting a decent retention deal out of three is like getting blood out of a stone. The last time I tried I remember the CS trying to give me a worse offer than was available to new customers, 3 times more expensive with less minutes than the grandfathered contract I was in and even had the audacity to tell me not to tel my friends about this amazing offer :rolleyes:
 
What kind of cases are people getting for their 5S?

I picked up a bumper case when I got mine but the case goes around the lightening connector port so neither the 30pin adapter or my radio clock alarm dock will connect while in the case. I really need a case where the headphone socket, speakers, and lightening port connector are all open in one space.
 
I have a Joli one, it's nice although part of me wants to concede it's impractical sometimes to keep taking it out of a sleeve (as nice as a naked iPhone is) when I'm out. I wouldn't mind something like the Twelve South SurfacePad... but better made/longer lasting.

There's a nice Vaja one that looks like it fits the bill - the Nuova Pelle - bit pricey though.
 
I wouldn't want a slip case as taking it out and putting it back are the times when it's most likely to slip out your hand and smash on the floor.

I Set it up as a new phone, just noticed sluggish movement between internet pages, and also typing on here and in SMS.

Think I'll have to restore again and see if that helps!
 
There seems to be plenty of Iphone 5Cs on ebay as buy it now for anything between about £250-350 and they mostly seem genuine. Many of them unopened. does this seem strange?
 
Anyone able to help with quidco/top cash back.

They say £80 on iPhone 5s for £42 tariffs on o2, does that include o2 refresh? Can't see anything on either site saying its not

I'm tempted to sell my Note 3 and give iPhone 5s a try, I just don't know why but I feel like trying something different for a change now, had the S2/S3/Note 2/S4 and now Note 3, but I'm really tempted to give iOS a go no. Tell me I'm talking sense here and should do it?
