Do you get an Xmas bonus?

We get a bonus as such, aslong as we can meet some congoured up objectives, and the whole team has to meet their objectives otherwise we dont get the bonus, the objectives are a little annoying, the problem being is that it gets so busy, no one really has time to do them, which sucks.

Trying to wrap my head around this one. So they give you objectives, pay you bonuses for achieving them, but then give you other work, with no incentives attached. So your objectives, arent really objectives? Either they want you to achieve them, or they want you to finish the other work? Surely add everything as an objective, then you ill at least get something.

Sounds like a carnival game.

We get a bonus, but its profit share, so everyone gets the same, despite their effectiveness.....

Still, Im happy for getting it, means Mrs Geek gets a treat

We get a little merry christmas print on our last pay slip before finishing for the holiday.

Only reference from our employer of it being that time of year.

Small place about 15 of us on the shop floor, wouldn't cost them much... a tenner would be thanks enough:)

My company pays out its Christmas bonus in the February payroll. Was about £1600 last year. Depends on company sales performance rather than individual performance, so it can fluctuate quite a lot year-on-year.

Nope, don't get one and in 24 years i've never had one nor expected one. That said, we have our CPD paid in a lump sum in December which is more than welcome.

I didn't expect one either as it wasn't mentioned at all in any of the 3 interviews I had but when I accepted the job it was there in black and white on my employment contract.

The bonus was a bonus! :D

My new company is the same, although it's done in bands based on performance (1-5 with 3 being expected/normal performance).

My company is similar, except it holds biannual reviews. We're just about to get our autumn bonus in a few days.

Not any more, we used to get one (1-3% of salary depending on performance) plus company bank rolled xmas meal and bar tab but now its just a small subsidiary towards xmas meal and thats it.

No Xmas party for me this year as the UK Antec team is me and ermmm me. LOL

Bonus is nice though.

Guess I know who I'll be dealing with if my brand new Kuhler 1250 fails to work then :D

We get a £10 high street voucher that this year has been doubled to £20 and £100 if we don't miss a day between nov and jan.
