Adam Boyes mentioned something about wanting to bring Shenmue to the PS4. I know it's incredibly unlikely, but I can dream, can't I?
I wouldn't complain about an HD remaster though, which there's probably a higher chance of than Shenmue 3.new poll required. which did you buy...

I guess one after Xmas to ask what did you eventually buy with what you also intend to buy if you only got one of the two or none if them yet could be interesting..
this ones pretty much now ran its course... I'd be interested to see if nearly 40% did buy a ps4.
going on review scores, neither have done all that well, but I think ps4 from a gamers view has the edge IMO. the whole share twitch gaming and social aspects of ps4 seems beter then tv and media over on Xbox one. time will tell I guess

Can either console play/stream HTML5 video in their browser? One thing that annoyed me about the Wii U browser was that it won't stream HTML5 video, unless it's in an app.

PS4! Simple, I am a gamer.
Maybe i'm missing something but can someone tell me a reason to go for an Xbox one over the PS4. Serious question not trying to troll but given the fact the PS4 is slightly more powerful and the X1 has some issues out putting games at 1080p 60fps (At least i read that somewhere) surely the PS4 is a no brainer?

Both are great , I personally went for the ps4 as the tv side of things does not interest me as much and I have loved ps plus since getting that.
Can't play Dead Rising 3 on a PS4 :/
Go for XB1 if you want Xbox exclusives, tv/video services, motion & voice control
Go for PS4 if you want slightly better graphics/performance, playstation exclusives and social/streaming features.
Or if money is a problem go for the cheapest which is PS4
Or if money is not a problem and you absolutely have to play everything, buy both!
or that!
Too early to judge either of them really.

If money is an issue don't get a PS4, don't get either. At the moment they are both 'gadget nerd' purchases. Neither has enough to really justify their price, stick with last gen and play some of the great games you've missed.

I would be interested to see a new poll as well to see if there was a difference between peoples intentions and what they ended up doing.
I previously voted that I was getting both but in the end decided to cancel both preorders due to the lacklustre launch titles. I'll pick up one or both when they have some exclusives worth buying.

I've weighed up both options and I'm going to wait for a few months now. Whatever I buy will replace my current console as well as my Blu-ray player and neither have a great selection of launch titles or particularly impressive Blu-ray playback. Think I'll see how both are fairing in the first quarter next year and just enjoy what I've currently got
