I am not "entitled" but as you say if i can afford to pay for a top end card should i not also get the top end deal? Had this been post Xmas i would not even have thought about it but so soon after purchase i think i do have a right to at least be a little annoyed..

Suff like this always happens when you adopt early, just get on with it. If you wanted to get a better deal then you should have waited for prices to drop. You cant feel short changed with AMD as they have good price vs performance, same cant be said for Nvidia.

lol i always do regardless of what card or brand i bought.. buyers remorse is something i have always suffered from

When i think about it i could have bought a console and been happy but i'd always know deep down that the games i would be playing would have looked better on that 290 i could have had

The thing is...the cards is may be bundled with BF4, they are not "free".

Price premium of £10-£20 has been added to the cards' original price.

The BF4 "Limited Edition" was a very poor deal, especially considering you have to pre-order it as well. Now you can buy a 290, unlock the shaders and get BF4 thrown in for free.

Haha, this reminds me of my Mrs. Whenever we buy something when out shopping, she will always look for it after and likes to show me how much we could have saved if we bought it from place 'X'. I honestly don't care and if I was always worried about something better being added/coming along, I wouldn't buy anything.

Enjoy your card and BF4 is BF3 all over but with bugs

Except none of the cards with comes with BF4 can be unlocked.

For the batch of flashed to 290x that are going to be available on Monday which got BF4 bundle with it, Gibbo has already confirm there's gonna be a £20 price premium, comparing to the flashed VTX that doesn't come with BF4.

I'd like to sell the games but i doubt i will .. if i can i'll grab thief x2 and give a copy to my nephew, can i take the same game on the same ticket? i.e 2 copies of thief on a silver ticket.

Fair enough, but it will still be significantly cheaper than the special BF4 edition.

AMD should really have done more for those early adopters who pre-ordered. A limited edition cooler, some more freebies, a better edition of BF4 or a really special price. As it stands they paid a price premium, got a pretty cardboard box and in some cases a few weeks of black screens.

there were rumours for ages that BF4 would be eventually bundled with the R9s

if you early-adopt you pay a premium unfortunately- always been that way

I didn't see or hear of it until about a week after i bought, think it was a forum post here that i saw initially that made me think about the deal i got.

I do not see why you feel screwed. You bought a card with a good deal. A better deal came later on. That's how things are. You paid for the card, not the extra stuff. It could have gone both ways tbh.

What ever card you bought , enjoy it mate. And I do not see all the fuss about the BF4 also, and Thief is better deal tbh.

im just going to say this, Dont DSR your card because you are sour. Fork out the cash for BF4 and be done with it. Be more careful in future.

And BF4 is not that great, its full of bugs, very frustrating netcode/high ping advantage and is seriously not worth playing at the moment (My entire clan of 20 people have stopped playing BF4 until they fix it all)

I don't intend to send it back and i am happy with it. I guess i'm one of those that are never happy lol When i think about those poor titan owners that bought at launch for what must have been close to a 1000 quid and must now be cursing the 780 and 780ti .. it makes me feel just a bit better
