Help your uncle jack off a horse.
Help your uncle jack, off a horse.
Punctuation. Learn it.

Its just annoying reading a opening post
It's![]()
Saying things like 'brought' instead of 'bought' when talking about having purchased something is just plain wrong. I mean, I probably couldn't be bothered to correct someone on a forum for it but it doesn't annoy me if someone else does because at the end of the day it's incorrect.
Surely the offender is being done a favour by being corrected as it may save them the embarrassment of seeming like a primary school child, rather than the literate adult they should be.
Anyway, Мені не сподобалося брудний граматику і орфографію. Це змушує мене хочуть вбити кролика.
Tafadhali kupuuza mimi.
They don't need correcting though, Most people just want to type a post and move on without double checking it for any potential spelling mistakes or grammatical errors.
I will often post, spot a spelling error and think to my self is it really worth the time to edit ?
My message has been conveyed in an understandable way if some people want to get all pedantic then they surely have to much time on their hands?
GET A LIFE!
Then when a bad standard becomes standard, then what? thats how it's going. It's cool to be dense!
It won't become the standard though at least on this forum people follow the examples set.
my spelling used to be atrocious on here until I decided to up my game to blend in more and added a UK spell check to firefox.
People who get annoyed with others grammar and spelling just need to get a life in my opinion. Are you really that arrogant that you wont answer someone who has made spelling mistakes??
It also makes me laugh when people assume that someone may be thick/a chav/scum because their spelling and grammar is bad. I am sure I have seen on more than one occasion that there are some famous writers who are known for having bad spelling/grammar etc?? Jane Austin and Agatha Christie were two of them, they didn't do too badly![]()
There is a distinct different between someone writing incomprehensible rubbish, and someone who just has bad spelling and/or grammar. Seems that some people can't differentiate between the two and like to pick fault in the smallest of mistakes.
I don't think the poor English something of a big issue on this forum, it's actually pretty good aside from a few people who when you read their posts you think "What the hell are you even talking about?".
This is going to be entertaining now that the posse are chiming in.

Grammar nazi or no grammar nazi, there's nothing worse than multiple expletives. I think it's because as opposed to a grammar or spelling mistake, where you'd be leaving something out by mistake, multiple expletives involves you purposefully and knowingly being a douche bag.
Comparing an online forum post to award winning writers. Good comparison there......
