Grrr micro coiled and wicked my Rose atty and filled it up only for it to leak all over the ****ing place :/, now i need to figure out a way to get the airflow ring off as the juice has got inside there and the ring is hard to twist around...have given it a wash under some hot water but not sure if the air flow ring is screwed onto the atty or not.

Cant seem to find a proper breakdown of how its taken apart or built either.

I've had one of those days - converted my AGA-T2 & TD gennies into Auto-feeding drippers with 1.4 ohm microcoil and cotton; lost the top nuts for the positive posts on the pair of them :(

Received my Sigelei 19B back after a UKVapers member very kindly offered to convert the topcap and switch to fit a custom made hybrid kit to use with my RSST; neither my 19B nor the 19E will fit a battery of any size using the kit, despite several combinations of parts from the pair.

My Igo-W dripper is working great but the Wife has told me off as the smell of Vamp Kiss made her puke (to be fair, she's 8 months pregnant, so the smell of Nitrogen in the air makes her want to "shout into the porcelain telephone"!)

My one, faff-free piece of kit: the Aspire on my EGO-T is useless until I collect the charger that's in my camera bag - which I've just lent to my best friend (along with all my lenses etc), since he bought a new camera body (D7100) but not a lens (he's saving for the Nikon 24-70), and since he works weekends...

Still, my latest addition has paled the other embuggerances into insignificance - my best mate, as a thank you for my support the past year, has given me 2 brand spankers RSM drip tips - the stubby brass and the slightly longer pyrex & brass version!

My wife and daughter have caught me on more than one occasion vaping in front of the mirror - just so I can see the vapour cycloning up the transparent tip

I'm banned from touching anything vape related (other than to actually get a nicotine fix) tomorrow as I apparently *need* to interact with them... :p

Scorch, having talked and dealt with Yas outside of this forum, I'd be inclined to say he wasn't specifically suggesting that *you* couldn't afford a Provari, but that those that usually knock/criticise the device often aren't in the position to buy one to find out otherwise. That was my take on it, but as I said, my conversations with the chap, via our many emails, have shown him to be nothing but polite, patient and pretty decent.

To be fair, using the dimensions of that full size, 1980's DeLorean, those mods and atties are hardly compact and to "accidentally" sneak into the picture, part of the 900" TV you clearly have in your garage, is nothing short of blatant showing off...

... I mean, c'mon, they're so huge you have to store them in your garage...

( :p.)

Yay, just completed my first microcoil with cotton on one of my Protanks, very smooth vape but a bit fiddly. I plan on moving up to a KFL or similar once I've narrowed down my jucie selection to a couple of favorites. At the moment I have three Protanks because I like to swap flavours around.

this comment was uncalled for and is kind of making me out to be a pauper etc, i think an apology is required to be honest.

i have some stuff so i think your manner and tone and looking down on people is uncalled for.

Lighten up dude.. I mean its not like he said he didnt like some e-liquid is it? that would have been REAL cause to launch personal attacks wouldnt it... :p

Thank you mate. Indeed my point was that people who knock/criticise the device are people who wont give it a chance to see if they are any good. It seems to me Scorch has made up his mind about Provari's due to some people having issues with them, which is fair enough as some people have had issues but the general consensus is that they are very well built devices.

LOL true, wasnt it scorch that had a few pops at people for using certain juices??. So its ok for him to have a pop at someone but yet when someone criticises scorch, he demands an apology??.

Anyhow scorch no offence intended with what i said to you about the provari. You got a nice collection of mods there though :)

More experienced people prob know this already but a little tip I have found... I noticed my protank 2 mini was lacking flavour a bit and has a slightly burnt taste sometimes. What I just did is take the coil apart, wash it under water, dry burn the black gunk off it....

Then I removed one of the flavour wicks and left the other one in, now it works a lot better and tastes nicer as well, not noticed any leaking... This is with 50/50 pgvg liquid. So if you are not completely happy with the taste of protank 2, remove a flavour wick.... 1.8 ohm coil + 3.7v battery + 1 flavour wick = pretty pleased with this now.

I quiet like the ribbing on the extension, atty wise how about the Temon tis a hard hitter too!

yeh that is a good choice too. But when I have my heart set on something everything just becomes second best. :(
The Diver v2 is supposed to be good, but then I hate using no res-res wire to make coils. I was going to pair that with a 16mm Sophia tank so atleast I can use my tank cracking juices. :)

You can get a golfers tool to remove the bottom, it has been mentioned a couple of times in the Rose thread, however they have not produced a video to illustrate how to remove it.

Cheers maj, i just left it to soak a few hrs in some warm soapy water...seems to have done the job. Didnt find it that difficult to coil and wick although trying to get the legs at the bottom to go into the 2 holes did take a me a few goes lol.

I think Todd does a full breakdown

Went out to dinner last night and was topping up my Igo W with my 3 week steeped VC, when I noticed a pool of liquid on the table. I thought it was just condensation from my glass of water, but no. The needle tip cap for my bottle is knackered and I had just squeezed 10ml of precious VC all over the table, my nemesis, and myself. I smelt like a sweet factory all night. Rinsed my hands off just in case after cleaning it up, but I was mainly gutted that I had wasted that golden liquid!

Large clear tank on the Kayfun looks nice

What is the best material to replace the flavour wicks on the protank 2 mini please?

A small piece of hair from a Unicorn's tail...

... Failing that, snip a small piece of silica and when it starts to unravel like a rope, a couple of strands should be sufficient.
As with all vaping - trial & error buddy. Do whatever works best for you. I remove the flavour wick altogether when recoiling ProTank heads, in favour of 2.5mm silica...

Well they are silica so most likely the same thing otherwise you can probably get away with something pieces of twisted boiled cotton?

I think someone said that cotton works better? Can anyone give me a link to the correct thing to get? I CBA to make my own coils and I do not have an ohm tester but I would like to replace the flavour wick.

Do yourself a favor, buy some .2 kanthal and 2 mil silica and coil your own, will save you a packet.
Mulitimeters are like 3 quid from gaybay.

So to sum up, the above will cost you less than 10 quid and will be enough to recoil dozens and dozens of new coils. Taakes about 5 minutes to learn how.

I do 5 wraps and works great each time using the above method.
