Hi guys,

At some point in the relatively near future I hope to undertake my first wcing build. Currently it feels like a much larger step than just building my own pc. Below is what I think I need at the moment but of course I am expecting that I am wrong in numerous ways; please be gentle :p

The cpu and mobo are there because I will be going from an 8320 with a rubbish asrock board to intel and a good z87 board.

I will be building in a Corsair 540 Cube case

You will need 8 Monsoon fittings. The rest looks pretty good.
Noiseblocker fans are also very good and highly rated.
I don't have that case so not sure what fits (sure the above all fits nicely)
I prefer the XSPC D5 Photon 170 Reservoir/Pump Combo costs a little more but looks good especially with the aluminium screw ring

the res/pump will be in the back portion of the case so unless the combo you mention is especially quieter then it doesn't bother me :)

Out of curiosity, how do you figure out which fittings ill need? I see in peoples build logs that they have loads of different shape fittings, will I need these?
 
you planning on cooling gpu as well? rad space seems a bit ott for just cpu. Also why 6 fans? you only have space for 5 on a 240 and 360 rad

2 fittings needs per item. so 2 for each rad 2 for cpu block 2 for pump res. Angled fittings look nice and if you have places where the pipe is going to kink or bend a lot then they are an option rather than anti kink coils.... or just because straight pipes look better

Sorry forgot to mention that i'll be doing my gpu too, a gtx 690 but OcUK don't have the block I need hence I didn't link to it.

e: I TAKE THAT BACK. SInce enquiring with the mods about the lack of 690 blocks they have got some in :D I didn't want to empty my basket but its the xpsc one :p

obviously add more compression fittings :D since you will need to add 2 more for gpu block as well. Not sure if 1 litre will do you or not but should be ok. (my loops uses about 1.1 litre which is a damn pain) easiest way to figure out if you want angles is look at other builds using that case or get everything set it up and work it out
