Walking Dead - I feel like crying

I've never understood the hype for this programme, the first series was new and entertaining, I stopped midway through the second series, and I'm one for sticking with TV series, it was exceptionally dull. Never understood how we are on 4 seasons and numerous games
 
Like every other TV show, it has it's high point and then goes downhill!

If you like the subject matter, read the graphic novels! (comics :p)

Ignore them and let them get back The Office US.

The Walking Dead is very good, yes some filler, yes some slow episodes, but overall there have been some epic storylines and some epic episodes.

I don't watch many TV shows, but this one i do!
 
I had high hopes for this when it was first released.
The premise of a few survivors trying to make it in a post apocalyptic zombie filled world sounded like just what I needed for a weekly show.

Unfortunately all I've seen so far is 3 seasons of a boring soap opera with the occasional zombie related incident to peak the interest.

The peaks were the Pilot, the 1st episode of Season 2 and the last Episode of Season 2.

The lows were all of Season 3 and everything in between the above.

Because it is a awesome show!

What else out there even comes close - for your horror/thriller/drama type of show?

nothing ... there you go.

I do admit season 2 was a bit slow - probably the worst season so far. Season 3 is Awesome!

Season one had some greats moments, a bit filler but overall a huge amount of promise. This all ended with season 2. Season 3 could have been summed up in two episodes. Just watched an episode of season 4 and to be honest they could go ahead and cancel the show. The writers have cashed their cheques and clearly lost interest.

Its now on in the background while I have my laptop reading forums, never a good sign.
 
I watch it and enjoy it, but it is massively overrated. It's certainly not even on the same level as other AMC productions like Breaking Bad, and yet is far, far more popular.

Season 4 has been fairly decent so far though. Bit slow, but certainly nothing quite so dull as the constant nonsense on the farm in season 2.
