Careful there are vaper spies everywhere and speedfreek visits ocuk. The Kayfun is an excellent Atty and comparing it to the Rose is a compliment. It's unfortunate you didn't get on with it but I'm happy you sold it. Things can get hyped in the vaping game just like in the GPU market but unless you try it you'll never know the truth or have your own opinion.

That RayRay bloke wanted to sell his the next day iirc and was persuaded not to. Knowing him it will be back on the market soon again.

Going back to the Kayfun, it is in my mind the best rba. It looks smart; gives a consistent vape; easy to build and use; can use any drip tip; adjustable centre pin and air control with the plus; customizable with mega or nano kits; tank doesn't crack with snake oil and can come in various colours and parts are cheap to come by. It has a hell of a lot going for it hence why it is a favourite among many. In addition dual coils are possible with it too if you want to sub ohm. Different strokes for different folks.

Meh im not bothered about the criticism i got when selling the Rose, just made me laugh that a few people got a bit butthurt over it. At the end of the day, it wasnt working for me and comparing it to the KFL, well again personal opinion...fact is for me the KFL is much easier to work with and just works once you get it right. I tried micro coiling the Rose and all i ended up with is lots of flooding, juice all over the place. I could have spent more time with it and getting it right but for me, it was too much and i decided to sell it. Its like i said on the thread that it will go to a better home and someone who is probably better at coiling and wicking than i am.

I sold it for the same price as i bought it from you Majnu so havent made a loss. Im happy the guy who bought it is happy as well.

Anyhow ill probably get another KFL or the KFL plus by the looks of it although the GP Spheroid is one thats tempting me for my paps x. But again the spheroid looks to be a bit of a faff to set up so might pass on that.

But fact is the KFL is a damned good atty and i love mine, the Rose is lovely as well but can be a bit of a pain to set up.

I personally have no issues with my ROSE -

The only reason I had issues with dual coiling was because im not use to the twisting of coil ends etc.

However I find it very simple to change the coils on the Rose and it works like a charm.

Unscrew the top remove unscrew coil remove put in premade knew one into the slots boosh done.

Once you get use to the length the legs need to be you dont evne need to take the cup out.

Thats great its working out for you mate, wish i could say the same with the Rose i just sold. Like i said the issues i was having was trying to get the cup with the legs into the holes, not as easy as it looks. I think out of the 3 times i tried, i got it right once but after that, nothing. Micro coiled it and split the cotton wicks into 2 at the end but that didnt work out for me either as it ended up flooding and spitting juice out everywhere.

Its like Maj said above, different strokes for different folks.

In all seriousness, try a vertical microcoil & cotton (28AWG, around 1.4ohm) on the KFL (think there's a How To on UKVapers, or JustPoo did one in the Show Us Your Coils).
Very smooth vape - let me know how you get on.

They keything is that all 4 juice channels need to be covered.

The cotton needs to fill those channels not alowing gaps, so in mine for example the only way into the chamber is via cotton there are no small gaps for juice to get through.

Once a user has that in mind flooding is a none issue bud

I do understand your opinions on the matter, as im sure others have had those.

For me personally I love the thing .

The only thing as you and maj agreed is that the clear tank is not pyrex or similar other then that I get along well with it.

I found out another trick for the protank 2.....

The little rubber seal that covers the wicks, flip it around....

Doing this combined with removing one of the flavour wicks makes the flavour production about twice as good.... No burnt taste and no leaking either....

Think I might try changing the flavour wicks for some cotton next, but I am not sure what cotton to use?

Anyway removing one of the wicks and flipping the rubber seal made a massive difference...

Get 100% natural organic cotton from the chemists or supermarket. You can use balls or the wrap type. I prefer to use the loose balls (ooh err!) as it's easy to pull, puff, twist etc into the shape you require. Clean hands are a must, soap all that skin grease off before fiddling

Thanks, yes I much prefer loose balls to tight balls as well, much easier to pull and twist into the shape you prefer :S Little bit worried about reading that cotton can easily catch fire though... If it burned and got to the battery that might not be good... Ah well should be ok I guess

Thats the thing, when i did the micro coil and put the cotton wick in it, i made sure i split the cotton so all 4 channels in the ceramic cup were covered with cotton. But the most i got out of it was about 3 or 4 pulls before it flooded and juice came out of the air hole.

Anyhow nevermind its just one of those things, its not a bad atty at all. Just ordered a GP Spheroid to go with my Paps x so will see how that goes. Someone needs to do a tutorial video on how to micro coil it with cotton but i dont think it will be that hard to do.

You have to keep cotton moist or it will singe (fire is the least of your worries tbh) and the flavour will not return (or rather the flavour of burning hobo will not go). If you keep it moist at all times, you're golden. If it tastes bad, change it. A pack is like 99p or similar and will last ages

Yeah, I have a VTR and love it. Two main areas of complaint from everyone are the weight and it being a fingerprint magnet. Neither of these bother me too much. I love it!!

Yep but cigarettes are still legal and completely fine.... Seriously it really does make me sad the greedy ***** that run the world.... This has NOTHING to do with public safety and EVERYTHING to do with profit.

People who have replaced smoking with vaping as a hobby will probably end up smoking again.... Absolutely stupid...

The problem is that the people who actually make the decisions / votes about these things have no idea what they are talking about, the same thing applies for a lot of decisions made by government, they are completely out of touch with reality outside of the upper class, antiquated bubble they live in. Also they are heavily influenced by pharmaceutical / tobacco companies, money, tax etc. more than an actual concern for public health.

GVC users. Do you find t he new batch (post hiatus) as good as his older stuff? I cant put my finger on it, but this new batch doesn't seem as nice as i remember it being... Its also no where near as coloured.

Its still the same, havent noticed it being any worse than the original GVC i had. I havent vaped it since i got a new 30ml of it, have left it to steep and its getting quite darker compared to when i first got it.

The Spheroid is very easy to coil and a similar Vape to the Kayfun, I'm sure you will get along with it just fine (although i know you're a bit picky) .

Micro coils not necessary but cotton is a must IMO.
