Head to the test range, and change all your control schemes to "Veteran" then you might actually be able to play it
Flares are down on the D pad, which is pretty annoying. You jump out of a vehicle by pressing X , the button you use to get in. Y changes seat.

Completed the whole of the singleplayer campaign and none of it registered. Think it happens when you start it while the game is installing because it can't connect to battlelog, (due to downloading updates) thus none of it registers.

Without reading through the whole post, is BF4 1080p native at 60fps, or 720p and up-scaled to 1080p?

PS4 is native, XBox One is upscaled.

i thought bf4 on ps4 is 900p
Judging by comparisons I've seen yes graphically it does look very noticeable, id also say that comparing in the flesh it looks even better that said unless you have both sat side by side it's probably not going to be a problem and yes PS4 is 900p.

Yeah have just found a decent source confirming PS4 is 900p.
I would prefer to go for the PS4 given all the research I've done, but the controller is truly awful. I think I'll stick with getting an Xbox whenever the stock may be available....
Ah, that may explain my first missing attempt then. Shame my subsequent three attempts keep corrupting the save file. :/

i played, online for 7 hours. And had no probelms. But on my last game, it frezzed. Good timeing as i was going to bed anyway lol... But there is a few hackers going about. Im on xbox 360. Someone add me. Skullblits.

Edit: that's much better. Didn't change the soldier ones as they seem to be the same except for crouching. Can now drive a tank again properly though!
Had a quick look around the vehicle customising too, seems a lot better but I need to get working on getting some upgrades! same goes for soldier kits.

No there aren't.
To hack on the Xbox 360 you need to mod your console. This in itself is not a problem but taking your hacked console online is a no no for most since microsoft do track these and do impose a console ban for modded consoles.
Then of course you'd need somebody to write a cheat for the xbox, and give instructions on how to install this on a modded xbox. Assuming you are selling this cheat to only people that have the knowledge on how to JTag an xbox, are willing to take it online, and cheat with it, your audience is tiny.
As a result nobody bothers. The only people that cheat are on PS3, where console bans are rare, and on the PC.

How do you exsplain people running about with weapons mods that are only for the devs?? And shooting threw walls?? And every kill is a headshot? There must mods or something.

i just gave some... Shooting threw walls every kill is a headshot. Weapon mods you cant get. And taking 3 shots in the head and not dropping dead.

What mods? Because your cross hair was on their head when you pulled the trigger doesn't necessarily mean that it should be a head shot, other than that, could be down to crappy hit boxes/optimisation.
I find it very unlikely anyone is hacking on the Xbox 360, one, or otherwise dude..
If there is a dice dev in the game they could have easily picked his weapon up on the floor ?
which weapon and mod are you referring to ? Could be like the PC bug which enables users to unlock the China Rising guns even though they weren't supposed to be added yet
Shooting through walls is pretty obvious, thats the age old "shot round a corner bug" where you go round a corner but die anyway. this is because BF uses client side hit registration. You were not round the corner on his screen, and because his screen gets the deciding vote the kill counts and you die round corners. Long been a problem on battlefield. Even the worst hacks invented on BF3 never enabled you to shoot through walls you weren't supposed to.
As for the every kill is a headshot, do you know the players name ? chances are they were just having a good day.
Again, even the nastiest of hacks developed for BF3 never created invulnerability. But you could glitch it. There was one bug on BF3 whereby if you spawned on a humvee that was about to explode, the spawn protection would throw you out of the car and you'd be invulnerable.
Pretty easy to spot however as the player never died unless somebody blew them up with splash damage which curiously wasn't effected. Easy to spot though as they can't resist walking up to a crowd of people and laughing as 5/6 people all shoot at him at once and he doesn't die. Its possible such a bug has been found in BF4, but its not hacking just a humorous glitch (speaking from experience
