no I shouldn't think so. have you tried putting cpu fan speed to ignore and trying a different fan header on the board? have you got the stock cpu cooler see what your temps are then? what config you using on your rad push,pull both?

I've tried several fan headers, Ive got the fans mounted to push air out through the radiator, these fans spin up when the system is powered on but they are having no effect on the temperature of the system.

There is no noise coming from the H100 itself so it seems to me that it isn't sufficiently powered or just faulty?

My CPU didn't come with a stock cooler.

well all I can think is faulty h100 how much did you pay for it? can it be returned?

Can't win em all eh. Other than than, on the plus side all other components appear to be working as they should so hopefully once I get this sorted it'll be good to go.

Just thinking what the best solution is in terms of getting a new cooler quickly. I suppose i could RMA the current one and just buy a new one straight away.

can I make a suggestion? maybe exchange the h100 for a raystorm 750 ex240 kit I paid £119.00 off scan I think super quick delivery and its easy to put together. you will need fluid I used mayhems x1 clear pre mixed did buy the red dye but was put off by discolouring. I get good temps off this cooler you will need 2 bay spaces free though.

I would remove the name & pricing of that competitor fella before a mod removes it for you ;)

Op bad luck to hear that yoru H100 is dead :( I think its RMA time, you maybe able to just buy a new one and request a refund tho the other one ;)

Yeah that's my plan, I phoned them up to initiate the RMA and requested a refund. To save time waiting I'm just going to buy another one now, unfortunately I'll be losing £5 because it was a on a daily deal when I got it.

I guess i can just buy some more goodies along with the new cooler to make myself feel better :)

ha they can remove it if they want :) only reason why I went to them was I had a deal with nectar points at the time ::) they sell them here for £139.00 there is a plus side getting it from here is the customer service is sublime plus free haribos:D

Ordered a new H100, arrived today. Fitted it and same issue....

CPU fan error on startup, H100 fans are spinning, pump doesn't function and temps begin to rise. I'm at a loss.
 
Can you use molex splitter cable instead of the adapter?
I never had my clc connected via adapters and never had problems, it was also a corsair unit.
If this doesn't work, going for custom loop might be the best idea.
Or get OCuk combo, eisberg with 240 rad.
 
Ok guys, so turns out after everything the ONLY problem was that I was plugging the H100 into the PSU via a fan slot rather than 4 pin power, so obviously it wasn't receiving enough juice to function.

Feel pretty stupid, but, live and learn. Everything is running perfectly now and I have a friend who want's to buy the spare H100 off of me :)
