So far ive bought Dead Island 1 &2 although not going crazy like i did last time round, but wanna get metro last light when it comes back on sale for a decent price.

Same here, i've only bought one game so far. This close to the xmas sales there's no need to rush. Everything that's on sale now will likely be on sale again in a few weeks, some of it cheaper than now.
 
Guys, how important is the DLC for borderlands 2? Can you quite happily play it with no DLC without missing out? Thinking about picking up the normal version for £5 on steam atm.

I found I played the normal game and just lost interest before tackling the DLC.

It's not vital, but if you enjoy the base game you'll definitely get a lot out of the DLC. I would definitely wait until the Christmas sale to buy them though, as the discount in this sale is a bit of a joke in my opinion.

Or you can get the GOTY edition which comes with the four main DLC, both character packs and a couple of other DLC for $15 (About 9.99) from here (Says MAC but works on PC).

Thanks for the advice, think I'll wait till Christmas sale and see. I have £5 left in my steam wallet (had £20 before sale :p) which I was thinking of using, otherwise I might get it from getgames although I don't usually spend £10 on games now a days. :p
 
Picked up Saints Row IV and both Witchers ... so far :|

Still not played half my library, just keep adding stuff.
 
Got myself Sleeping Dogs plus the DLC and Dead Space 1 & 2 so far, had a quick blast of Sleeping Dogs and it seems pretty good so far hopefully the Dead Space games are decent to. Bought The Witcher for 2 for a friend as it's just to good for anyone not to have a go at that price!:)
 
Bought the Borderlands 2 GOTY from Steam, feel kind of gutted I could have got it half of that price...oh well. Anyway, I have no idea what character to start with, anyone give me some tips, or point me in the right direction?
