Not all them are making 100 quid plus eBay and Paypal fees. Paypal always sides with the buyer as well and more and more people end up out of pocket from people who buy electrical, use them for a bit then smash them and claim the cash back. Its happened to a few friends of mine recently with phones

Hope the adapter is faulty because I've tried recording a message and it doesn't work unless I fiddle with the jack in the pad.. If you could link me to your adapter id be grateful.

I have a 2011 mixamp (the one with the buttons at the bottom, under the volume knob) I have the quiet problem, turning that volume thing up done nothing

If you have disk in bluray drive when your first switch it on - can you hear the bluray drive buzzing a bit?

I think its because the ps4 is on wooden shelf.......

Anyone else?

Think you need a certain adaptor. You need one that has 3 rings going around the plug, not 2. At least that's what you need with turtle beach headsets.

Having problems with sound through receiver. Some games work fine in 5.1 DTS, others crackle and distort. Changing options seems to give stereo only sound.. Weird.

All the games have been awesome so far. Extinction mode on Ghosts is prob most fun.

Interesting, I'm sure the one I have is 3 rings and still seems the connection isn't right I'll have to check it out properly when I'm home Tuesday and also check the new one I have coming buy if anyone has any success with the same headset id love a linky to the part.

Yep Killzone has excellent graphics. It really does compare with games on ultra on PC imho. 1440P gives uber definition but the PS4 graphics have that next gen feel. Obviously PC will surpass again, but very impressed with what the £350 PS4 can achieve. Look forward to Naughty Dog pushing it to it's limits, what they will be able to achieve will be stunning no doubt.

In all honesty I'm only going from what I've read about the adaptor for Turtle Beach headsets as their website states that not all adaptors/leads will work with their headsets. Might be the same for Astro's.

Has anyone managed to used any codes yet? I can't redeem my PS4 12 month code until they reactiivate it nor can i put my uplay pass in to play assassins creed online :/

No that is strange, my remote play seem to work excellent. WiFi direct and I can play games upstairs in my bedroom with no issues what so ever, and they play very good on my Vita. I ain't tried external wifi yet, but I have read that it needs a min of 2 Mb upload to work with an ISP, I got 5 Mb upload, but no-one I know got anywhere near it.

But direct with PS4, no lag and plays awesome.

So finally opened the box, decided on keeping rather than selling. Setup everything and all works great. But as I mentioned before sometimes I get a buzzing sound from the powersupply(as soon as i connect the AC, even when it's off).

ANyways, can you guys clarify what the colours on the the consoles and controller mean.

On the console I get white, is it not supposed to be blue?

On the controller, I get different colours, inc white, blue and yellow(very rare).

And one more question, in the sound, which option shall I choose. PS4 is connected via HDMI to an AV receiver.

Linear PCM, Bitsteam Dobly or bitsteam DTS?

You need the mixamp 5.8 ps3 chat cable. Plugs into the back of the mixamp base unit with a 3.5mm then USB into the PS4. Not chat cables needed to plug into the pad. For now you could plug the A40's straight into the 3.5mm on the pad, sounds not great though.

PS4 power light should be white when on.

Not sure about the pad, don't think anyone is!

As for the sound, PCM or bitstream DTS is fine, but you only get the funky lights on the av receiver with bitstream as the receiver is doing the decoding. PCM is done by the PS4. Audio quality is identical, but personally, I like the funky True HD lights and all that.

The way killzone handles save points is so bad. So you can complete mission tasks, only to come back later to have to redo the lot. Infuriating!!
