Maybe on paper but I'd have a corsair PSU in my setup any day over XFX. I'd run a mile infact before I'd put one in any PC I built. Sure they might be seasonic internals but I'd almost guarantee they've cheaped out somewhere.

Seasonic doesnt guarantee quality tbh. Boought a seasonic s12 600w unit which blew up the first time it was turned on. For me enermax make the best psu's. But they are expensive. My current corsair hx 850 is a corsair built unit. Peice of garbage with it's rubbish flat modular cables. The antec true power 750 in my second rig is way better.

why is the corsair garbage and the flat cables are better for cable management are they not?
there is a high chance that antec is made by seasonic

I've found flat cables worse for cable management while the cable itself is easier to manage you then have a problem that the connections never seem to be at the right angle and its all messed up as you have to twist stuff around.

Enermax PSUs I believe are based on Impervio designs and I've always had a lot of love for my PSUs with Impervio internals - seem to be high quality, over-specced and run decently quiet/cool.

Sorry should have worded it a bit better.

The actual unit itself is good, it's just that i cant stand the flat cables. I did use a set of the excellent corsair aftermarket cables. But as they were blue they dont match my current build. And tbh theyre pretty expensive so i cant get another set. Whereas my antec is supplied with round braided cables as standard. Making for a much tidier looking build.
