Didn't know Barnsley had sacked Flitcroft. Whilst I am not surprised, it is a real shame. He obviously loves it there, and would be in it for the long haul...I am not sure the board could realistically expect much more tbh. They have been playing very poorly recently though.

I agree with this, I have enjoyed watching Wenger look like a basket case these last few years but fair play to him it's coming right and they play the right way so would be nice to see them win it.

Would be a shame if Wenger goes native on us all again in the transfer window and refuses to buy anyone claiming the team is perfect. They still need another good striker and (IMO) a better right back than Sagna, heck even another CB. Arsenal with a few more players would be truly hard to beat for the title.
 
They'll be coming for Mike Williamson with the form he's been in. And maybe Shola as a backup for Giroud.
 
Got hammered in their last game, Manager under pressure and all over the back pages.

It's got a Spurs win written all over it.
