"Black Friday" purchase.

Considering how many SSD's I've bought over the last few years (This is the 7th ), I'm amazed it's taken me this long to finally go completely 'solid' in my main PC. This will replace my mostly empty 500GB storage drive.

How much were these going for? I'm tempted by the 250gb Samsung 840 @ £119.90.

A MG42! my dream collectible, how much was it?

I think he paid £1500 for the MG42 and around £1100 for the lafette (he got £200 discount for already having bought the MG42). All stamped/marked.

He has since bought some of the accessories that go with it (spare barrel case, starter tab, etc.).

Would the M500 make a good drive to put steam games on? My 500gb HDD is now full so would rather add an SSD than another HDD.

Yeah, it is an investment for him as well as something he likes. He will most likely never sell it but if he does it'll be for a profit.
