Question for anyone that recoils their own Kanger heads (Protank or Evod) - do you have a preferred supplier, size or type of wick, gauge or type of wire? Have experimented with a couple of types of both now and can't seem to find a satisfactory combination that lasts more than 48 hours

2 mil silica with 5 wraps of .2 kanthal works for me, comes out at around 1.8 ohms.

At the moment I use 0.25mm Kanthal and 2mm ekowool. 6/7 wraps gives me aound 1.7Ω. Will be trying the microcoils and cotton soon.

+1 for a tank you use for the same flavour each time; otherwise a 1.5ohm microcoil with cotton wick, as it's much easier to whip out the cotton, dry burn the crud off the coil and replace with fresh cotton between flavour changes.
There's a lot to be said for Microcoiling & Cotton, in most devices - even Genesis atties.

I'm a huge advocate of making the most of what you already have, before throwing more money at the next shiny new device; I see so many newly converted Vapers turning up with their next step up from a Cig-a-like gear and wanting advice on what to buy, in order to "blow ****in' CLOUDS, innit"
, with no knowledge of rebuilding, Ohm's Law, or the inherent dangers of mucking about with wire & batteries designed for a very niche market... I often contradict the Mech Mod & Sub-Ohm Vaping Brigades' recommendations and suggest a Protank (or Evod, or other easily recoiled atty) & a basic VW (Vamo, SVD etc) first, at least until they understand the fundamentals of rebuilding...
... and at least invest in IMR batteries without the word "fire" in the name!
Once the basics are understood, most are able to find their own way to the next step on the Vaper's Ladder and I'll happily recommend a Kraken & BaGua Ti22 or the like

See, this is where the confusion comes in - it's completely subjective, so which tastes/burns better? When setting up the coil, do you use 2 or 3 pieces inside the coil and 1 flavour wick, or some other combination?
Do you guys clean out your clearomisers before putting in fresh juice. I just add the new juice to the little remaining juice (usually between 0.5-1ml) even when using a different flavour. You never know you may stumble upon an unknown beautiful taste one day.

I found a good idea is to rotate a few atomisers.... For example one for fruit, one for mint and one for tobacco flavours, also rinse the tank and every few uses soak it in washing up liquid. Because some flavours really do not taste nice when mixed.
I'd agree about having 3ish atties for the above groups. I wouldn't use washing up liquid to clean them myself. I'd not trust that I could clean it out right. I tend to dry burn all my atties.
I am thinking of selling my recently purchased vaping equipment. Is anyone interesting in buying it? I do not have much money at the moment and think I need to sell it and maybe come back to vaping at a later date. This is what I am selling, it is all new condition and hardly used :

I would recommend soaking in very hot water, then either Milton Sterilising fluid/tablet and air-dry overnight.
Many seasoned Vapers swear by Ultrasonic Cleaners - but obviously once everything has been flushed with hot water.
If you're going to sell ALL your Vape gear, only to go back on the Nicotine Gum, or worse - start smoking again, then I would hold on to your kit.
You WON'T recoup as much as you'd expect - people won't hand over £20ish for a Vision Spinner when Fasttech sell them for under a tenner (regardless of the waiting game).
If you intend on revisiting Vaping again, you'll only have to shell out yet more cash (if you buy new), on top of whatever you spend on NRT in the meantime; I'm guessing you're not just going cold-turkey over the Xmas period (inappropriately seasonal expression!)?
Well I have some financial problems at the moment and although I thought it would be cheaper to vape compared to nicotine gum, realistically it is not, no plans to start smoking again.

No MS yet, contacted Chel and he said it was shipped but there was no tracking number provided, so he will go back and look at his paper work. If he can't find my tracking number he will post it out tomorrow.
Still looking to buy atomizers for it though lol
I think the MAGA and Line LE (when it is released) is what I will go for. The Kayfun mini I also considered but it's just too long inside the MS. The Penelope V2 also I would have bought however, it needs sanding down 1mm to fit and I don't have the tools to do that.
Getting a Hellfire mini and nahual is impossible so if anyone happens to have one let me know
