32Gb RAM worth it for gaming?

I'm still on 6GB and it's perfectly fine, due to the memory configurations allot of users have 8-16GB of memory but have no idea how much they actually need for games.

Trust me you can get by just fine with 6GB of memory in any new titles, the only game I recently had an issue with was COD Ghost which was a bit of a joke because the textures looked like crap, they also fixed it with a patch anyway.

you looking at performance only

I'm looking at price per performance, reliability, upgredability ;), monitorsizeability, and dropping juice on laptop keyboard and computer keyboard.

Had one, graphic went faulty replacement was very expensive, never again ;)

Your forgetting portability, took my whole rig to the Falklands for 4 months but now in an on the road job so lappy is the only sane option

My 2 pennies are soo boring ;-) Gb relates to "giga-bit" and GB relates to "giga-byte". Byte is 8 bits, so you can easily calculate how much 16Gb is ;-)

But then you have to take into account that they have reclassified it all to round numbers of 1000 for KB rather than 1024 now for some unspeakable reason. can't remember what 1024 is called now though
