How do you update if your rooted?

I cant seem to update to 4.4.1
Tried everything. I always end up with an error with "system/app/CalenderGoogle.apk" and it fails in TWRP. Tried the normal way and through adb sideload and its the same error.

I think i might have to restore it back to 4.4 and the redo everything :/

Just played about with the camera in low light in my room. Focus is pretty much instant, camera starts up much faster. The couple of shots I did take had perfect focus and were really very good.

All in all impressions of the update so far is that it seems much better then expected.

Sounds great to me, Hopefully this will translate to the GPE version on the HTC One cause the focus is pretty much poop at the moment.

Time to wait for it to drop

Happy to hear that the speaker is louder too, looking forward to the Purity ROM being updated to 4.4.1. Bledd, Purity ROM lets you do that to the battery and a good few other things while keeping the stock look.

Can't get into the sideload menu to get this on my unrooted nexus, getting stuck at the android on his back with an exclamation mark and vol up + Power is doing nothing? worked fine for my N7!

You fire up the application but it loads up the playsore link for it..

Booted up the stock recovery just for you

To be fair it's proper difficult to get the menu for some reason, but I find the best way is to press power first, then V+

I just installed stock 4.4.1. via:

Takes a good 5mins sitting there installing on CWM so be patient.. It kept all my settings and apps.
Camera does seem faster. The vibration is much firmer now as well, amazing difference.

adb reboot bootloader is the alternative to use if the button pressing does your head in.
