By god!! So, you guys know I bought a 10ml bottle of Apple Tart awhile back and tried vaping while full of flu and hated the taste? Well, I stuffed it in my vape drawer and today I ran out of Scopes Banana and Monkey Jizz, so, I riffled through and found a very dark juice, Apple Tart, it's sublime, the cinnamon taste is minute and I think it's an awesome vape now :D

Get a USB > mains adapter as well because USB is slow and annoying.

Could get the evod or the protank does not matter really, protank butter but evod you get 2.

Hi,

What e-cig would you recommend on a 30/40 quid budget - I'm using skycigs at the moment but want something better like the ego - what do you recommend? And also are ones off the market ok? There's a bloke selling them that look like ego's for about 15 quid.

Whats wrong with the SkyCigs? I was looking at getting one of those.

What would you guys recommend I'm after getting various different flavours, would rather get something the skycig size rather than those big ones but not too fussed.

Cost, battery life, tied into their flavours

You neglected to mention:
Poor quality
Automatic battery (powers when you suck - definitely a negative)
Long recharge time
Proprietary cartridge connection (meaning you can't buy cheaper alternative cartridges and use with your Skycig)
Cartridges are mis-sold as the equivalent of 40 cigarettes (more like 5, 8 at a push)
Taste - low power 180mAh battery just can't provide the voltage to create a decent vape.

You would be MUCH better off looking for even tge cheapest Ego & Clearomiser kit that you can, but I recommend spending as much as you can comfortably afford on the highest mAh Ego battery - ideally 2 of them, one charging whilst the other's in use.

I can also thoroughly recommend the Aspire BDC atomiser either in mini or full tank form.

As for juice recommendations: buy a selection of samples from www.joosejuice.co.uk £1.49 for 10ml plus 90p postage. Don't try buying any juice making itself out to taste like Marlboro Lights or Golden Viginia - it won't. Stick to fruit flavours or RY4 at a push. At least until you've got a bit more knowledge of the market (and eve tually realise just what overpriced **** Skycigs really are!)

This is what it looks like will be all thats available if the ban goes ahead, for example "benson skycig" crap e-cigs sold at high prices, no flavours, taxed as tobacco probably. Maybe it will not happen but it does not look good atm. :o Ah well as long as they do not ban nicotine liquid then it should be ok.

Ollie sorry i didnt get back to your email, no problems on the kick2 as i saw you had updated your post to say it had been sold.

All is well mate, hope all is well with you as well.

Does anyone get an aftertaste... After you have vaped and the next morning when you get up... Sort of a not very pleasant taste on your tongue? I get it with every different VG/PG/Nicotine I have tried... I think it is probably the VG dont know.

I keep reading your posts thinking 'what the hell I didn't have any of this'. Then I think well it was years ago I started maybe I did and have just gotten used to it / forgotten. Like I said before this is a fairly strange vaping thread, we have so many fairly new vapers using top end gear and few using starting off basics. I'm convinced it is the inner geekiness of most posters here causes that. I guess you must know vaping forums fairly well as you seem pretty up to day on the EU bull.

The weirdest after effect of vaping is my pee smells funny and is a dark yellow colour, been to the doctors and he said nothing wrong and just drink plenty of water which i do...usually finish off 2 litres of water a day.

The other side effect is that my sex drive has gone through the roof according to my missus, not that shes complaining:p. But even i have noticed that sexually im much more alive so to speak.

Other than that, i dont have any huge side effects from vaping, i do get vapers tongue every so often but i can deal with that and some morning i wake up with a phelgmy chest but usually a good cough will empty that out.

I haven't really had any bad effects and I've only just started. Then again, I went straight from smoking tobacco to vaping so my chest and lungs were already used to much worse than vapour.

I do find it gives me quite a dry throat but it's not painful or anything... At first I wasn't too sure how long to vape for to get a similar amount of nicotine as a cigarette, but I've been using the throat dryness as a gauge and it works well for me. When I start feeling like I could really do with a drink, time to stop vaping. :)

Ollie, I'll reply to your email later on!

Maybe it is because I started vaping from nicotine gum whereas 99% of people start vaping to stop smoking... So compared to smoking it is infinitely better but compared to nothing other than nicotine gum (have not smoked regularly for years) I notice the side effects more with it.

After a little advice

I've had E-Cig's for the last few years, had the original Tornado kit from TW then bought an Ego-C about a year ago with the twist batteries (also from TW).

It's been great but a few days ago I was outside in my camper, it fell out of my pocket and rolled down a drain :(

Panicking I instantly ordered another one the same, again from TW. The next day it came and I sat on it, breaking the battery. I like to use 3 batteries in rotation so went to buy more.

I hate buying batteries, especially at £25 a pop, so had a look on Ebay. I bought a kit with 2 more twist batteries and a couple of CE4 Clearomisers for £30 - great 2 spare batteries and a backup in case I lose my Ego-C, nice and cheap.

The CE4 things leak and I'm wondering what other atomisers people recommend?

I liked using it for a morning until my mouth was filled with e-juice, so I like the round end, any recommendations?

Cheers in advance.

Do you take B vitamin supplements? They do that..

If you hate spending £25 a pop on spinner / twist batteries why don't you either get a VAMO or similar or just use standard EVOD batteries at £10 a pop with the correct resistance atomiser they work alright., you are just changing the resistance of the atomiser instead of changing the voltage on the battery, it is the same if it giving the same watts.

Just been for Physio at my Haemophilia Centre, where I overheard the Receptionist complaining that the medical supply delivery had over delivered AlcoWipes, again!

I've now got a boot full of 20 THOUSAND Isopropyl AlcoWipes... that's me sorted for Atty & Mod cleaning for the next few decades... :D

Neither do I and I am still new to vaping (9 months).

However I do use mouthwash and brush my teeth as per Dentists advice before I go to sleep and drink water. PG/VG will coat your mouth I assume if any of that crud on the drip tip is to go by.

and yas786 thanks for sharing your sex life with us all.

Best advice: Don't buy ANYTHING from TW, EVER again. Overpriced, relabelled Chinese tat, appalling service and the owner is an utter Panty-Hamster.
