The Gerrard situation has been building for ages. For whatever reason Rodgers has refused to sub Gerrard off no matter how far ahead we've been in games ever since he took over.
Even in his prime Gerrard's been prone to more than the odd injury and to continually play him for the full 90 minutes in games made an injury inevitable. Norwich in midweek was an ideal game to rest Gerrard but even if you excuse the decision to start him, the game was over at HT and he should have come off either at HT or early in the 2nd half.
Why no Chiriches?

I say it every week but why can we never take corners.
I used to put perfect balls into the box week in week out and that was playing on bumpy, muddy pitches and I was a porker. Why can't our pro's take a corner.
