****The Nintendo 3DS Thread****

any body know any more details about the trade in a ds:i at game and get £50 off a 3ds xl or 2ds? as my daughter wants to trade her dsi and 3ds in tomorrow for an xl but not sure if they will allow it
 
loving this so far, i loved my dsi xl and sold it for the 3ds but it cramped my hands too much.
got the circle pad pro for my xl and its so much more comfortable, almost finished with resi evil and working my way through zelda link between 2 worlds at the min, on the last world of super mario 3D land and getting luigis mansion 2 at Christmas (well my daughter is lol) thinking about getting pokemon as i loved the old games. should i get x or y? i really wanna play charizard mainly for nostalgia lol is he avaliable in both versions? any other recommendations?
 
Anybody bought the new 3D mega drive classics?

Sonic 1, Altered Beast, Super Hang-on and Space Harrier are all up now and the 3D is pretty cool. Don't know what it's like in motion.
 
Digital versions of games are great until you try to redeem a code and realise that the eShop is down for maintenance till about 4am... Bought Bravely Default code and I can't download it :(
 
Oh I didn't even know about the 3ds thread! Couple of questions. Does the 3ds take memory cards? Also, what is your top 3 games for it? Not including Zeldas, as they are a must for me.

EDIT: Never mind, I see these questions have already been answered in this page and the one before. I'm at work so it's hard to check haha.

I can't access the eShop now, and it's giving me some garbage 011-3051 error code even though a connection test and the fact that I can sign into my new NNID before it tries to access the store are successful.

There are so many good games that it's hard to narrow down to be honest. Pokemon X/Y, Fire Emblem if you like strategy RPGs, Bravely Default if you like tradition turn based RPGs, Mario Kart 7 is a solid racer, RE: Revelations is a great third person shooter horror game, Mario 3D land is fantastic and Phoenix Wright: Dual Destinies is a personal favourite of mine. Not to mention the other great titles like Luigi's Mansion 2, Aimal Crossing and Monster Hunter 3.
