Is it only women or men aswell that like the central heating wacked up?

lol i was at my friends house the other day and the house was boiling he was going mad lol.. said to me shes sat there in a ****ing tshirt with heating on full blast saying its cold.. can understand if she atleast attempted to get warm by putting on a jumper or something ha

Im back living at the parent due to a psycho ex.... and i have turned off the radiator in my room... they have the heating on all the damn time its like being on holiday!

hahaha when ever I stay over, the Radiator goes off in my old room :D

It is always women. Although I have to wear shorts n tshirt at my parents around xmas as the house is ALWAYS roasting hot!

haha yeh same, tshirt at the parents place while it snows outside ;)

It's odd how people seem so impressed they haven't used their heating.

Ours is on at 6 off at 9. Then on at 5 off at 10. Log burner in dining room usually gets lit around lunch to keep the dogs toasty.

I prefer to just put some socks on if it gets cold, some people in this household prefer the radiators on inferno mode :/

I like my home about 22C, depending on what I'm doing. When doing some cleaning it needs turning down.

Are you one of these people who get annoyed when someone orders a hot curry and thinks they are trying to 'act hard'? I have read the thread and no one seems "impressed".

Some people can't afford to run the heating all day.

My roadie hasn't got any heating in his house except for hot water. He's got a coal fire but I've never seen coal in it. If you go his house you just have to wrap up. He's had girlfriends but they can't cope with the cold and he isn't willing to change.

Onsies. The way to reduce heating bills globally by 60%

Just LoL! No shame. That's unreal. The age of these people wearing onesies. How embarrassingly sad.

Strangely enough, women look not bad at all in them but it looks so wrong on a man.

Do people actually go to the door with these on?

Currently I'm sat here and it's 20°c in this room. I'm wearing a t-shirt and a pair of jeans. To me it's 'just right'.

The others in the house complain that it's not warm enough but since I'm the only one who understands how to use the program settings on the boiler and the "constant" button 'mysteriously' got broke a while ago they have to bend to my will.

Muahahahaha

Indeed. I find 18 - 20 very comfortable. Sometimes 22 - 23 in one room because of where all the computers are located. From that, the radiator in that room is hardly ever on unless the computers are off then it kicks in.

Yes, very beautiful models in onesies don't look all bad in them. They could wear a bloody bin bag and still look great.

Mine's set to 21C - it's an old draughty house and in need of new windows so feels colder than it is usually. When living at my parents they never set it above 18C and I only used to feel cold occasionally but my partner is Spanish and feels the cold so 21C is a decent compromise for us.

Simple thing is that you get used to the temperature as long as it;s in a reasonable range. IMO above 22C is really too much to be heating your home up to - waste of money.

Fire alarm went off in my building late the other evening. I had to LOL at the three people in onesies, stood on the street!

Current update - heating still off, temperature thing reads 22.8C. Window open to let some heat out!

My partner would have the heating up full all the time if she could.
Luckily for me she cant fathom the thermostat.....so I win :)
