5GHz Overclock advice

Hello all,

I'm trying to clock my 2500k as high as possible (5GHz stable :D) but I want to keep the eco features turned on ie. underclocking when not needed etc...

I can boot up and run SuperPi with a 1m score of 7.5 something...
That's at 1.404v

From here I'd like to know which settings to be fiddling with to help stability.
To get 5GHz I leave everything at default but up Vcore 1.380v and Dynamic Vcore 0.020v
Plus drop the RAM from 11-11-11-28 to 9-10-10-21 @1.55v

This is under water 480mm X 60mm rad space with a 7950.

Any advice?
 
When isn't it stable? and are temperatures sensible? Are you running a manual or offset Vcore?

I have a certain amount of interest here, got my 2500k to 5ghz once, but voltages and temperatures were a bit scary. Now happy at 4.5!!
 
5GHz crashes out immediately on prime. Will survive gaming though!

Im not sure what Vcore I'm running (man/offset :/)

For 4.5GHz I leave the V stock and just run 45x multiplier.

What do you use your PC for? Running prime or gaming?
 
Probably no reason other than that he wants to bother with it.

I will when I eventually get my 2500K under water too. :D

Help me get the highest stable OC from my chip :)

Basically, I'd like to know where the wall is but would like a few pointers. As mentioned in my build log, my only OC experience is of AMD Phenom chips so Sandy is a bit of a learning curve.

Have you tried increasing the base clock by a few mhz. I get 5ghz with a 49x multiplier. It also overclocks your ram a tiny bit too which helps in things like super pi.
