Leon, hello. Just read your story, sorry for not doing so before - I'm lazy. And it's very moving but encouraging. For every story we read about someone being a tit there are more enough people like yourself that are proving that the World still has many a great person in it. You're an inspiration and doing a fantastic job (still a creepy so and so though! ;) :p).

I hope you have a great Christmas, you deserve it.

Now we need Intel to donate a CPU, Gigabyte a motherboard, Corsair a PSU, Coolermaster a case and Crucial some RAM and we'd have a new PC for him!.

So I don't post often, but I'm addicted to lurking here. I recall reading this thread back in January and when I saw 5UB's tweet last night, I had to do something.

It's truly a pleasure to be able to offer some support and this thread in it's total iss very touching. Leon, I think what you're doing for your family is superb. You should be massively proud of yourself and even more so, that you're managing to do such a good job as a father in such a tricky position.

Keep your head up and keep moving forward.

I'm also incredibly touched by the sense of community from this forum. It's very easy to forget the important things in life when arguing over one brand or another, or whether something is faster than the other or what piece of technology we should spend money on and to see the community pull together for such a great cause, is fantastic.

I've reached out to a few of my pals across the industry to see if they'd like to make contributions too, so let's see what becomes of that.

I truly wish you and everybody else who has shown such generosity, good willing and a true community spirit a fantastic Christmas.

Did some one say motherboard!

We at GIGABYTE would be more than happy to add a motherboard to this list.... There is a Z87-SLI motherboard here that now has your name on it
