I'm torn between both, the s4 and the note 3.... can't make my mind up! You're a lucky chap lmfy2k! ;)

I'm known as the phone tart at work lol, new phone every week on the quest to find a perfect handset. (Buy and sell one at a time)

Been few loads, aswell as the note 3 but for me right now the nexus 5 is perfect. And cheapest too!!

Fast, good size, lots of rom choices, decent camera, looks awesome, decent battery (with custom roms/kernels) and did I mention price :D

Go for it mate

I used to get a day (sometimes not even that) out of my HTC One X, and I get 2 days without a charge on the N5 if that helps put a perspective on it.

Heavy use should still see you through a day, but it charges stupidly quick via the mains anyway, so if you are running low a quick 30 min charge will sort it out. Via USB 2 it doesn't charge that fast, but on the USB 3 ports on my laptop it charges just a little bit slower than it does off the mains.
 
Hmm just wondering, will my phone come unlocked from google? Probably something i should have thought about before i ordered!

Also these take micro sims don't they? Gonna have to order a micro sim from 3 as the sim i planned to use in a nano sim.

Very easy to do mate. Once you start flashing you won't be bake to stop :)

Again very easy to do. These phones were made for it. Very easy to revert back to stock too and has no flash counter.

Don't worry. Battery out of the box is brilliant. :)

I just updated to Cataclysm over the weekend (thought I'd try a dirty flash from stock, and it worked perfectly fine) and I lost 3% sleeping last night. On stock ROM I was losing around 2% overnight. Haven't tried a custom kernel yet, but unless they're performing witchcraft, I'm not expecting much of an improvement in battery life, just a small nudge better from less voltage.
 
How come there is no HDR mode on the purity rom?

Also, viewing the daily mail website on any browser, you click on an article, and it opens it in a kind of mobile site version, never used to do it like that.

Which version are you using ?

I'm on latest purity and HDR+ mode works
