Anyone buy Xbox One, but wish they bought PS4?

Software. The interface etc on both will probably change a lot, and a lot more features still need to be added on both.

couldn't agree more , there are lots of things on the PS4 UI that can be improved or added , not to say its bad now though , Im sure its the same with the xbone as well.
I badly want to see a good racer on the PS4 , I really hope drive club is as good as its looking at present, remember the old Toca series on the PS , man they were some good car games!
Yeah I'm waiting for DriveClub too. I'm getting worried now as I was expecting it to come out around Feb but still no announcement and it's getting closer
This is going to be the clincher. We can go on about exclusives all day long, but the fact is multi-format games are going to run and look better on the PS4 - and I suspect by a bigger margin that some people hope/suspect. This may not bother everyone, but it will certainly grate with others. Especially as we'll be getting comparison screenshots and vids with every big release.
Why play the 'inferior' Destiny when you can play the definitive version on the PS4?
The PS4 is cheaper, more powerful and better looking
Sony are more focused on gaming and have better in house devs. More and better excluskves.
PSN+ offers amazing value and for around £30 a year you now get free games and good ones at that for Vita, PS3 and PS4. Importantly it's very well known by tbe public just how good value PSN is, always being mentioned on HUKD. Compare this this to Lives miserable offering!
Trust - I think most people will trust Sony over Microsoft, look at the fiasco over DRM just before launch and how tbey back tracked. Microsoft just always seem to be after your money constantly from it's spammy UI to no online play without gold on last gen and this one
Like I said earlier I'll buy a xbone at some point. But rigbt now the only next generation console worth bjying is the Wii U, Super Mario 3D World trumps all!
I've owned every console to date bar tbe xbone and while the 360 had some great games it felt like a shop window where the others were gaming machines.

I have had every playstation and all the older gen xbox's as well as wii, mega drives, and master system and before then some amstrad thing.
i'm not a fanboy and although the 360 was a better overall package than the ps3 it's reliability and having to pay to play online turned me away from it, especially the reliability part.
now with the new gen the ps4 imo is a far better gaming console, the new controller is fantastic (apart from a minor issue with the rubber grips on some peoples), although you need to pay to play online now, i have had psn+ anyway on the ps3 for the free games, so I don't really see it as paying to play online, i see it as paying £30 a year for a **** load of free games. plus it's ridiculously cheap, the ps3 was more expensive at launch and if you take 8 years of inflation into account, then it's probably historically the cheapest ever top end console manufactured (wii was not top end). on top of all that it has far better specs, is in a much smaller frame with no power brick and the only issue with quality control is a 50p thumbstick whereas the XB1 has had a load of issues with dodgy optical drives, etc.
i think as soon as developers realise there is a bigger market on the ps4, you should see less exclusives on the xb1, so in 2-3 years time i can see people's xb1's gathering dust if they have both consoles like my wii has done so for many years now.

I agree with psycho sonny, the DS4 is fantastic and my new favourite controller and like sonny I view my PSN sub as payment towards all the stuff they give me across all 3 platforms 
However I can't see xbone sitting on a shelf gathering dust. I think microsoft would re-design it, sell it cheaper and frow money at exclusive deals before that happens.

I'm sorry but your wrong on that. You trust Sony who installed malware and had their PSN network hacked? As for no online play without gold, PS4 is the same this time round so you shouldn't be using that as an argument.
Likewise with the free games, you get to play those games as long as you are subbed to PSN+, effectively a rental service. Games with gold are yours for life, which means if the sub ends you still can play those games.
so glad i went for the xbox one first. The ps4 is a pretty skanky proposition to me as a lover of all things cars, zombies and golf. On the other hand if the ps4 had cars zombies and golf I'd have bought that but it has only fps, platforming, indie and sports titles blergh.

Yup, Xenon's right. The software will go through numerous changes over the next couple of years. Just look at the 360 dashboard now compared to what it was when it was released - they look like two completely different consoles!

take it you have never heard of gran turismo? not out yet but the developer has said they are looking to release one within a year or two they won't make the mistakes they made with the ps3 this time round with like a 10 year wait between games.
plenty of zombie games will be getting launched too, a la resident evil series, etc, and im pretty sure tiger woods or whatever it is called these days will be on ps4 as well as xb1.
the only thing letting the ps4 down is lack of games and sure that is a problem for a games console, but the main ones are all out and the big games are hitting it soon enough.
watch dogs is going to be insane if they make use of the ps4's extra power.
as for PSN+ being a rental service, you could look it that way or look at it as being £30 a year for a **** load of games plus online play.
you guys must spend more than £30 a year on 1 game, so why not spend £30 a year on like 50+? it's like netflix for games but only costs like £2.50 a month.

I have my PS4 and Im really happy with it,
The only thing that gets my goat is tha fact that most of the game for the xboxone I REALLY wanted to play, Namely Ryse (I dont care about the reviews looks like my kind of shiznit), DR3 and I recently dusted off my 360 Just to play State Of Decay (amazing game).
I did have two PS3's and a 360, but there is no way I could afford the xbox one, not with a little nipper on the way.
Overall Im glad with my PS4 choice as I forsee amazing things in the future for this, just the lack of good games at the moment has me moaning

Gran Turismo hasn't been that good since GT3 IMO. GT4 was good, but GT5 was a backwards step. Forza has been the race game king since Forza 3 IMHO.
Both consoles will end up with loads of zombie games but nothing on PS4 will be like Dead Rising 3, unless DR4 comes out and is multiplatform.

That is your opinion, but the general world is not seeing things that way. Which is why the PS4 has outsold by a boatload.
You ask your average Joe what they think, they will mention "can't play secondhand games... sod that" even if it is untrue.
Can't even begin to compare Live game offerings to PSN+ , there is a huge quality gap there. People won't look at the small print.
I really hope so as i'm not a fan of the current PS4 gui at all. It was much cleaner on the PS3. I haven't tried the XB1 so don't know about that - every iteration was god awful on the 360 tho!
