*** The Official Playstation 4 (PS4) Thread ***

not as good as pc which is his point..

I will invite u around my house to play bf4 on my PC and you will see what i mean :)

on topic the ps4 is decent visually

He never said it was better than PC just that PC gamers are very impressed by it. That reads to me as good performance for the money, beating expectations of what the machine is capable of etc.

Quick question: As I recently become a PS+ member are the game saves I already have (created before becoming a PS+ member) automatically backed up to the cloud or do I need to enable a feature?

Just thinking from a HD upgrade stance - I assume it will just "download" my saves once the relevant games are reinstalled and I sign in.

As far as I'm aware you'll need to individually set them to upload, I could be wrong though.

ah Zen pinball, wicked thats me sorted for this evening then , as well as a bit more ac black flag. I tell you something. I thought ps4 had graphically impressive visuals on a 24" monitor, but its totally wicked on a 42" telly , miles apart. Very impressive stuff from killzone .

If the streaming works well on the Vita I don't see why Gakai won't be a success.

It works 'ok' and i love the feature, playing something like ac is brilliant on it. I tried playing some of the single player of bf4 on it and it is near unplayable. There is enough lag to throw you out, and the stick sensitivity isn't there.

And I am in no way shape or form someone who is anal about things like this.

GAME @ Castlepoint, Bournemouth have in-store stock if anyone is interested/nearby.... Bloke stood in the door with a sign :p

Both Zen Pinball and Pinball Arcade are available. I've bought the season 1 pack for the Pinball Arcade, but I'm a bit annoyed that some of the older tables aren't available on ZENPinball. The pack prices are too expensive at £8.49 especially given I already bought the tables before on 360 and PC and some (which aren't available) on PS3. Hopefully PinballFX will be along on the Xbox One and will import all my tables from the 360.

Frustrated at the lack of any new games anytime soon. My ps4 has pretty much turned into a netflix machine now lol. Was it like this with the ps3...i cant remember.

Same for me somewhat. Played a bit more of Warframe, but can't really get into it.

Killzone has pretty solid MP though. Getting ACIV for Christmas, so look forward to that!

On the Blu Ray movie front does anyone know how to stretch 4.3 aspect ratio to widescreen? Basically I have the Farscape dvds and upgraded to the blu ray version. Both are the same aspect ratio of course but the blu rays play with massive black borders down the sides. This might be OAR but I don't like it at all. All other materials on my old blu ray player it would automatically stretch to full screen (ie for the earlier seasons of Buffy, X-files etc)
