Gigabyte gave me an update, they shipped from Far East last night. :)

So if we are very lucky, we might get them arrive tomorrow, in which case people will have before XMAS, though this will need some kind of miracle.

They are mostly likely to arrive Monday, as such as long as the couriers don't find themselves in the pub to early, you will get XMAS EVE. :)

Hi Gibbo,

I opted to collect my order becasue i only live a few miles from OCUK. If these land on Monday will they be available to collect from the shop same day? Can you let us know on this thread when they land becasue i have email problems at the mo.. changing ISP! Thanks :)
 
Any info on whether these are Reference PCB?

Also, how many left on the 100 Gibbo? This will determine whether I pull the trigger now on the WF3X or buy the Tri-X and wait till Mid-Jan.

Hi Gibbo,

I know they ask you this a lot already but...

I made my order on the 17th at 21.40,do you think there still hope for me to being in the first batch of VGAs ?
I have ordered from OcUk all the components for a brand new rig as well within the same order and being able to build it during the holidays would be fantastic :eek:
 
I bit the bullet and changed my order to a MSI 290X for £30 more since it came with games and it was going to come for sure before Christmas.

I will just need to look at after market cooling at some point.

Can you just confirm, my 290 order is amongst the 100 right? Just want to make sure I have indeed a great Christmas coming ahead :D

From sleuthing around the thread. Gibbo last implied on the 17th at 10:50 and 11:06 that there were still some left out of the first 100 for the R9 290.

And on the 19th (today) at 13:08, he said there were 10 pc of R9 290X remaining.

You ordered a 290x on the 16th and I ordered a 290 on the 16th. I think we're both safe mate.
