I've just built a PC with the following:
Gigabyte G1 Sniper M5 (MATX)
Gigabyte GeForce GTX780
Intel 4770k
Corsair H90
2x 4GB Corsair Vengeance Pro
Samsung 840 Evo
Seasonic x-series 850w
BitFenix Phenom MATX case
When I plug in the kettle lead and flick the PSU switch to on, the power button on the mobo lights up a steady orange. If I press it or the case power button, the fans start for a fraction of a second and then immediately cut out. The orange light stays on the mobo, but no error codes are displayed at any point. The case doesn't have a speaker so I've no idea if any beeps are being emitted. It then won't do the fan spin thing again unless I turn the PSU off with its switch.
I've removed the GPU, SSD, and disconnected the case USB ports and LEDs, but still have the same issue. I've tried both RAM sticks separately, same deal.
What's left to try except for running it outside of the case? How do I identify which part is duff if it's not a short on the case? I don't have access to other PCs to test anything in.
