Get your Wallets Ready - Steam Sale Dates this Winter

Task Manager can be opened more than one way, but I tend to enable it by right clicking on the taskbar, and then select 'Start Task Manager'.

It is related to the refresh rate of your monitor, nothing to do with the number of cores. It is designed to be run on a 60Hz monitor and the FPS is tied into that, you have 120Hz. You need to force your monitor to run at 60Hz, so just go to the Display Properties/Screen Resolution page then Advanced Settings. Monitor tab, change the refresh rate from 120Hz to 60Hz and click Apply. That should hopefully sort it.

I bought it on the 360 when it came out, managed to fluke my way to the first town where I had to kill a monster in the lake, didn't play it for a few days and in that time completely forgot how to play it.

Since then I've bought it on PC thinking it may just be a controller scheme thing, tried a new game a few times and can't get passed the start bit. It just doesn't make any sense to me at all???
I have the same problem lol

Got 3DMark today as I noticed it had a huge 90% price decrease! Worth it for £1.89, glad I got it :)

That brings my total purchases to 3 in this Steam sale:

- Bioshock Infinite
- Far Cry 3
- 3D Mark

Think I'll probably get The Witcher 2 as well, hopefully the Flash sales will get better soon as they've been pretty terrible so far.

So far

Fallout 3 GOTY (Ubisoft)
Dishonored
Final Fantasy VII
Far Cry 3
The Walking Dead (GMG)
3D Mark
Metro 2033 (GamersGate)
The Witcher 2
The Walking Dead 400 Days DLC

Brb not leaving the house in 2014

Just echoing what others have already said , Tomb Raider for a fiver = no brainer imo, great value game.

On a side note , i quite liked skyrim , do you think it is worth getting the oblivion goty edition for a few quid to experience one of the previous games ? ( i never played any of them )

Cheers

the witcher 2, WHAT A BARGAIN, never played the first one before so jumping into number two was a big surprise at just how graphically intense it is on par with crysis on max settings to bring your pc too it's knees = )

Agreed, one of the absolute must-buys for anyone who doesn't have it when it is at this kind of price !
