Is Xmas magical anymore?

My kids just all went to bed early (for no school) and on their own accord. That only happens one night a year. Little buggers love it. Having kids around makes it kinda special imo. My daughter insisting to put out a drink and a packet of Quavers (don't ask) for Santa.

If you're going to look at it that way, it's actually the commencement of Winter and the peak strength of the Holly King [look it up].

i thought it was just a "it's gonna be dark cold and food's gonna be scarce for a while , so lets get ****ed and have a feast" thing?

Xmas for me this year is fun as i have a girlfriend who won't tell me what shes got me! Surprises are fun and make me look forward to stuff

Magical though? Nope.. Not a child its lost its spark

Deffinately not lost its magic, it is still my favourite time of year.

Summer

Longs days...the background hum of lawn mowers...Girls showing their asses...Dog walks on the beach...camping....drinking ice cold beer...Guitar playing with friends...BBQ's....

your post is BS

I've always believed christmas is the time for those with children, new couples due to the romance of it all or those with large close families. When my little brother was younger christmas was slightly fun, when my family all got along it wasn't too shabby either but now I could quite happily work through it.
