Does any of your cats like Marmite? I just let my cat lick a Twiglet, expecting it to recoil in horror, but it licked every last bit of Marmite off of it :D.

I personally wouldn't touch them unless they have had the relevant health tests. Both breeds can have trouble with their heart iirc so parents should be tested for HCM at the least. There's probably lots of other tests I don't know about.

Depending how short their noses are, being energetic (ie Bengal side) I suppose could give them problems too.

I'm just not sure why someone would cross these two breeds and would not want to encourage it at all.

Thanks, got a response to say they weren't available anyway, but from my searches online and now your confirmation, I'm pretty glad I didn't have to make a choice - seems a very odd choice of cross breeding. Have emailed a few others but getting little or no replies, which is frustrating to say the least. Didn't realise how difficult it is to find some kittens, and some people are asking for silly amounts of money for non pedigree cats!
 
Been out today and not long been home and neighbour rang and said she has had to have Rocky put down - he was 3yr old smooth dark haired Persian or something - nice hansom cat- seems he had renal failure - That's two she has lost in same 3 yrs - Other was Fred grumpy huge ginger tom who got knocked over - not a mark on him.

Please consider rescuing a cat/kitten. There are so many sitting in rescue centres who just want a loving home and so many people out there breeding for the sake of money. Just a consideration :)
 
Unfortunately the local rescue centres are stupidly picky, they wont allow us to have a cat as we both work!

Where do you live? I've got two cats, both rescue and I work full time. They didn't even say I had to have a cat flap (I've got one) I chose to get two cats as they'd be company for each other

Google for smaller independent rescues in your area, they're usually much more relaxed :)
