TOTY is just the actual FIFA TOTY as voted for by the Nations captains and managers. Perhaps the media gets a say? Can't remember - don't think they do.

The results then get given upgraded cards. EA don't have any say in it. Other than the issuance of the cards.
 
Gonna be some Bundes after last years routing of La Liga.

Lahm is a shoe in, same with Schweinsteiger.

I think it'll be:

Neuer
Alba Ramos Pique Lahm
Schweinsteiger Iniesta Xavi
Ronaldo Ibrahimovic Messi
 
Yeah I wouldn't disagree with that, I'd like some BPL players for once but even Suarez can't get in ahead of players from different leagues.

Could only be RVP or Suarez who are in with a shout. Unfortunately Ibra is just better and had a better year.

I watch a bit of Ligue 1 on ESPN and he's brilliant. Always try to catch PSG CL games as well to see my boys Zeke, Ibra, Cavani and Lucas Moura play.

If Serie A was more prominent, Vidal could have been in with a shout. He was immense last year for Juve. But Serie A isn't as popular even on the continent as it was in the 90s so he wouldn't get a look in. Don't think he's even on the shortlist is he?

Edit: I forgot Ribery and Robben but don't see how they would get in above Messi and Ronaldo (obviously) and even if FIFA changes the TOTY formation to 4 across midfield then could be:

Neuer
Alba Ramos Pique Lahm
Ribery Schweinsteiger Iniesta Ronaldo
Ibrahimovic Messi

Perhaps...

Sorry to keep asking questions but if you were to build a complete Ligue 1 team who would you have? I've found Cavani and Lucus but couldn't find the other players, if you don't mind it would be appreciated so I can price up a team please mate.

Don't really like Ligue 1 as a whole. Their midfielders aren't great. Hence why I'm using Cavani in my hybrid. :D

As Rusty said, Ligue 1 midfield isn't that pretty, you could go a 43*/43** with Moutinho, Menez & Matuidi, defence wise you have Maxwell/Digne, Silva, N'Koulou, Mariano etc.. Sirigu is a decent enough GK and striekr wise it depends on your budget! :)
 
Toulalon is good but not that glamorous. I hate Matuidi. Found him useless at everything other than being a wasp but he even fails at that due his high attacking w/r he's trying to score.
 
Cole & Johnson imo, a great combination of the defensive capabilities of Richards and the more attacking playmaking style of Walker. Barely used and that is pretty surprising.
 
Dumped a load of my players and got 2.5 mil with 500k of players left to sell, defo think I can build an Ibra friendly Hybrid with that!
 
PSG Mata will be insanely priced for ages, and won't even be out till February...

Add to that the fact that Mata in FUT really isn't very good....
