Sherlock - Series 2 - BBC

Enjoyed it, laughed quite a bit at parts, they have a wonderful comical element, the solving unfortunately this time for me was too easy to work out.
In a look at shower, locked door, solved. I would have expected more from Sherlock.
Wedding good though.

-edit, anyone thinks John's wife might have a bad guy role at some point? There is something not quite right regarding her, or perhaps just with the way they have inserted her, she sees things, knows too much, very observant, and has no id features, orphan etc.

I also think it is fantastic but for me it has not beaten BSG as my all time favourite.

LOL. BSG is good sure, but there are so many weak characters (and actors) that it brings the show down imo, not to mention the whole show goes a bit awry after the second season.

It had some funny moments but was just a mishmash of storyline. It seemed to go on forever. Maybe the last episode will be good.

How can they only make 3 episodes a season? That's pretty bad. Is it to make way for all the other **** that the BBC produces and to pay some fat cat a bonus with the license fee?

Because they're difficult to write and about three times as long as other tv episodes?

Or because the actors are very busy I think. Martin Freeman has been doing the Hobbit for a while now, and Cumberbatch is all over the place atm

Well that as well, it's a miracle they're still managing to do it. Cumberbatch is in ridiculous demand.

What a brilliant episode that was. It might have had no new story development as far as cases go but it was a nice and humorous look at Sherlock's character at least and opens him up a bit more to the screen and shows you he's fully aware of his awkwardness but that he's still in control even when not in control.

Have to say, Natalie Dormer, does do a rather tasty Moriarty, and to be honest, I do think that Rhys Ifans does a better Mycroft too..

I've been tempted to watch Elementary, how is Lucy Liu as Watson though?

She's fine (in both senses ), as a show it's also very good I find. Not as dark as our Sherlock but I don't think it's meant to be either.

Only 3 episodes in this season?! Damn, nothing else to watch at the mo too. Just watching Justified. At least Banshee returns in a few days.
