Sherlock - Series 2 - BBC

To get to the main target. He was working his way up the social job ladder, so to speak, to get closer to him.

No it wasnt that - more he was trying to find out from them the next time that Army recluse would be seen in public, the last one he dated (the nurse) knew he was going to Watsons wedding

Actually why wouldnt have each of their job histories not shown they worked for him either currently or in the past? I can understand maybe some of them working through contractors but all of them?

Eh? So all the women knew (or worked with?) the army dude?

So, he stalks the army guy, sees him with these women and in turn, stalks/dates the women to find out about the army guy's movements?

He stalked them to find out what Watsons old COs public schedule was (they were all his staff - not sure if it was confirmed current ones) and found out from the Nurse he was going to attend Watsons wedding.

Killing the guardsmen was just the rehearsal to the wedding murder...

Well I thought The Blind Banker was an excellent episode. My least favourite is still The Hounds of Baskerville.

Yeah, the whole secret facility never really washed with me.

My favourite by far is Scandal in Belgravia. Lara Pulva played a brilliant Irene Adler.

Yeah agreed. Watched it again yesterday after seeing her in the latest episode. Such a great acting performance from the her and the main two in that episode:)

Ah OK thanks.

The fact that she was a filthy dominatrix helped immensely for me. Just saying.

Oh aye! Although she could have done it fully clothed and it still would have been my favourite. I think I liked how she toyed with his head

I've liked how the show has made the brave choice to show the consequences of Watson's humanising effect on Sherlock. I say brave because having Sherlock be more touchy feely does turn the show's initial paradigm on it's head a little but I'm glad they decided to show the character grow and not have him grow stagnant.

So they've hidden truth from us again. Just what did Mary do? Apparently it doesn't matter to the audience because John Watson doesn't care.

Also didn't Magnusson have envelopes? What were they if it's all just in his head, did he say he gets stuff printed if he needs to?

Was a good interesting episode though not on par with the best episodes from previous seasons! Felt like there were definitely different acts to this play though.

I can only assume it's back for season 4?

Was this series based on any books or did they create the story themselves? Acting was fantastic in this episode as it always is but the fancy camera work, progressive story line and reveal at the end was missing. Not sure if they're trying to move away from how the episodes were presented in the first two series or not but this series was really weak in comparison imo.

I liked it.
Thought it was fine, and as I mentioned in episode one, the wife was predictable puzzle.
Anyway, what I did not enjoy was the lack of problem solving.
No smart way out.
No wittiness.

Just shoot him in the head.
Hmm lazy.

First I was like :(
Then I was like
Then the credits rolled...
Then I was like :eek::D:cool:

When they showed Moriarty in the cell I thought to myself "he was such a good villain". Proper excited that hes back. God I hope they don't make us wait an age for the next series!

Haha, brilliant bait and switch there. Everyone spends months wondering how Sherlock survived, then it turns out that Moriarty faked his own death as well.

Mary was an agent that then went freelance, with great deceptive skills and sharp shooting. So assuming the things she did under the guise of "for her country" were probably questionable on a moral scale, she was probably also a "specialist" for hire, and they are hardly out there to secretly prune peoples roses :p.

They fed enough information for you to formulate the story yourself, you don't need it spelt out for you.

And Magnusson kept up an image of having vaults where he stored his information. If you are going to convince people of that, you carry around faked paperwork to make them believe it. If you just told everyone it was in your head then you would get shot by the first person you tried to blackmail. It was obviously working, even Sherlock thought the vaults were real.
