To be honest, there are some great pictures in the OP's DM link. Porthleven is across the bay from my family home and my Aunt lives just the other side of Loe Bar. They always get hit hard on that stretch of coastline.
I welcome it in a way, the office is disgustingly hot this afternoon to the point where it's giving me a headache, I don't quite know why but all public sector buildings are heated like ovens.
If it starts raining the breeze blowing in through the crack in the window might pick up.
I'm not in Aber anymore but when I was there, there were a few bad storms and surges but nothing as bad as this last weekend and a bit. Wish I was there now as it would be pretty cool but it sucks seeing the place battered so badly!
Last year me and my gf would eat lunch in this shelter on many occasion.
Not sure exactly why that sea wall is about 2 and a half feet thick though! The sea has actually gone through and then up into the shelter!
WINTER BRINGS WINTERY WEATHER, WITH RAIN AND WIND AND POSSIBLY COLDNESS. THERE MIGHT EVEN BE SNOW! THIS WILL BE THE MOST WINTERY WINTER SINCE LAST WINTER!
