Absolutely fallen in love with my BPL team.

Cech, Clichy, Kompany, Luiz, Walker, Fernandinho, Toure, Schurrle, Ben Arfa, Rooney and Sturridge in a 4-2-3-1(2).

My second side is a hybrid Liga BBVA/Bundesliga side but i'm thinking of selling up and having a cheaper fitness side. I have 150,000 coins plus the likes of Ramos, Dante etc to sell and Suarez (we don't get on).

Not sure whether to just make a cheap prem side or something from serie a? Any suggestions?
 
Serie A is strong but I find it a very boring / soulless league tbh, maybe that's just because I have no interest in Italian football though.
 
Seem to have a bit of a thing for 41212(2) this year with pretty cheap teams, quite liking the idea of this:

Ibarbo is disgusting there's no two ways about it. Just get Balo :).
 
Just sometimes, occasionally, it would be nice to play people online who have more than the L1 and Triangle buttons on their controller. Sick to death of people getting the ball and just lobbing a through ball through every single time, no passing, nothing but lobbed through balls. Game is junk.

Is the new engine just as bad as the old engine? Not played on PS4 yet but if it's just as bad then they can ram the game.
 
Yeah faced a brazil skill team last night against my brazil team. All he seemed to wanna do is lob ball through to Pato. I ended up winning 3-1 with a pass accuracy of 89% :D

I noticed that most lob ball people i play always end up with pass accuracy of around 60-70%
 
I'm still learning some of the skill moves, very satisying to use.

Especially the one were you are running up the wing and they think you are going to cross the ball in but you stop and cut inside of them.

EDIT: Also, i've heard a lot of talk about TOTY and market crash etc, what is actually happening? only been playing a couple of weeks now.

super duper TOTY cards (blue cards) are made available for next week onwards, normally they release them in four stages, defenders, midfielders, attackers then all of them in one go. Because of the quantity of packs being opened the value of players drop because everyone is undercutting each other due to the quantity of players available.

Generally, everyone sells up before TOTY and buys their players back after or during TOTY, for example i sold Ronaldo for 2m about 10 days ago, hes going for 1.7m now.

All the expensive players on the game are dropping in prices quite dramatically now, and for a few more weeks for various reasons, but mainly lots of people buying fifa + packs at christmas, and then TOTY coming soon (january 13th), which will create 11 new super cards that lots of people will want to get.
 
Still not sure if the crash will really affect legends much or if they will just gradually decline in their own way.

Trying to sell Effenberg, will probably offload Costa too, but ideally want to hang on to Crispy for now!

Are you on PS3? I'll give you a game sometime, I think we have similar views on lofted through balls!
 
I don't really have any majorly expensive players, think my most expensive is Navas, so doubt i could make much money from him.

Do they cards get released into special packs or just placed in the market by EA? Also do consumables get affected by this? would say squad fitness become really cheap? So i could buy in bulk and sell them when they return to their normal price?

So want Ronaldo in my team. He looks like a mix between Ibra and Messi. I kinda miss Ribery as well.. he had his moments.

My shopping list for the rest of Fifa 14. Would happily pay 2m for the 3. Bale should drop down to 500k.

Ronaldo is about 2.3m on PS at the mo. Down 300k from when I bought him a month ago. Not really a massive drop to be honest. If you factor in the tax on a sale at 2.6m - which is 130k - you aren't left with a massive profit. And at the cost of losing your precious for a few weeks as well as all your stats. Ibra is down to what I originally paid for him. Again I could have sold him for 1.4m. Lose 70k in tax and then make a couple hundred K. Meh for me is rather keep my cards.

They'll probably drop a bit further still but if my expensive cards are in TOTY then I don't expect them to drop that much further.
