MSI Afterburner 3.0.0 Beta 18(2014-01-02)

Is there any way to get more than +100mV on the core voltage?

Yes there is a way with afterburner, not 100% sure how but someone else will know. However Trixx allows up to 200V but i'd not recommend going over 100mv on air.

Hmmm the hexidecimal trick doesn't work for me it seems. Afterburner just doesn't actually start if I use the custom shortcut :(

Has bugged out I think, Set my OC, Told it to apply settings at startup, It doesnt, ever...

It always loads stock settings at startup, I have to apply profile 1 each time  (and when I apply it, 1 in 10 times I get a black screen :( )

Do you have an overclock on profile one or stock clocks?

The shortcut just applies the voltage, you need to launch AB normally after you clicked the modded shortcut.

Hmmm tried this and still showing only +100mV. Also the voltage monitor didn't show any different averages/max compared to when not using the shortcut.

Tommy i think its changed slightly. Its still possible but it might need a slightly different combination of numbers.

Yup, I went through the comments in the download to see if anybody had the same issue.

I have it working now,

"/wi6,30,8d,xx"

the change in wi4 to wi6 and also I run the shortcut while afterburner is running and now I'm getting the voltage increases I was looking for.

thank you it had not been working for me lately didnt know why.

Hi there

Treated myself to an Asus 290X reference. With GPU Tweak I can put upto 1.412v into the card and she awards me with 1240MHz core clock and 6500MHz memory, but GPU Tweak does not have PLL voltage like afterburner.

Problem with afterburner I can only go upto 1.35v which is 1200MHz core, but I can get ram too 6600-6800MHz with PLL voltage increased, even more surprising the card has Elpidia and clocks like a beast. :)

Question: anyway to get +200mv on afterburner with Asus 290X instead of usual +100mv?

P.S. Had a play with an MSI Lightning 290X yesterday, best OC I've ever achieved and what a cooler. :)
