We want to sell our LS430 and get a Range Rover Vogue SE, however we are trying to cost up the price differences in running costs.
Both will be the V8 around the 06-07 mark.
Our commute is usually 10 miles A roads and 10 miles motorway. ATM in the LS430 we average 24 MPG.
I am guessing the petrol Range Rover is going to do around 18mpg? And the diesel equivalent is going to do 25 mpg from what I can see on the forums.
We do 15k a year so that is
Petrol - £4887.05
Diesel - £3791.44
Thats roughly a £1000 saving, however my main concern is maintenace on the diesel. I can repair most things but 2 turbos around £1500 isn't cheap even if I am repairing it.
